The Disney Cruise Line fleet has been back at sea for more than one year following closures due to Covid-19 protocol. While some precautions are still in place, cruisers have returned to enjoying the many amenities on board and the unique panoramic views of the ocean on which the ship is sailing. The Disney Cruise Line is more committed than ever to bring guests the best service and environment to make memories with the recent launching of their newest ship, The Wish, and new offerings for their itineraries in fall of 2023. Check out which guest favorites will be returning and what will be new next year!

Returning Itineraries for Fall 2023

Two popular cruise themes will be back in 2023 making fall a wonderful time to plan a vacation. First, Halloween on the High Seas cruises begin departing mid-August through October. Guests can expect to see the characters in their Halloween costumes along with opportunities to trick-or-treat and attend Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party. If Halloween is your family’s favorite holiday, you’ll love the Halloween tree and all of the ways to celebrate this holiday aboard the ship!

Beginning in early November, Very Merrytime cruises will also return. Cruisers will experience the stunning holiday décor on their ship as well as characters dressed in their holiday best. Ignite your holiday spirit with a special tree-lighting ceremony and meet two special visitors all the way from the North Pole, Mr. and Mrs. Claus! Very Merrytime cruises will run through the end of December in 2023.

The Wish and Fantasy will also continue voyages to the Caribbean and the Bahamas in fall of 2023, including Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The Wish will take 3 and 4 night trips while the Fantasy will cruise for longer.

New Departures For Fall 2023

In the fall of 2023, several cruise ships will find homes in new ports. When the Disney Dream finishes its first season in Europe, we will then find it departing out of New York City between early October and early November 2023! Guests will have a choice of two different itineraries  – south to Bermuda and north to Saint John, Canada. The Dream will then travel south to leave from a new port in Florida. Beginning November 20, 2023, the Dream will depart from Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale for the western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
