Dining Overview
Located in the iconic Contemporary Resort near Bay Lake Tower is one of the most popular character dining experiences in all of Disney World. This family-style, all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience allows you to spend some time with the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, as well as Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto.
Because of the convenient location, this restaurant is easy to visit for a mealtime respite from Magic Kingdom or from one of the other resorts located on the monorail line. You can dine with a view of the monorail passing through the building, or Mary Blair’s infamous Contemporary mural.
Breakfast features more traditional offerings, while the dinner menu has some more unique fare. While it’s not listed on the official Disney World dinner menu, kids plates are offered at dinnertime featuring mac and cheese, potato barrels, broccoli, corn dog nuggets, and chicken nuggets – sure to please any child’s palette! There are also allergy friendly menus available; just ask your server for details.
The characters are the real “stars of the show” at this restaurant. Mickey and his pals, dressed in their chef outfits, make their way to each table for hugs, high fives, pictures or autographs. They also take occasional “dance breaks,” when lively music pipes in and these beloved characters show off their moves.
