Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Disney World’s largest park and a fan-favorite of many guests. Animal Kingdom is a unique park and there are several unique stores available selling souvenirs you can’t find anywhere else. Here are just a few stores you can’t miss when visiting Animal Kingdom.
Discovery Trading Company
If you are looking for standard Animal Kingdom merchandise then don’t miss Discovery Trading Company. Located in Discovery Island, this one-stop shop sells gifts, plushies, park-exclusive merchandise, apparel, Magic Bands, housewares, and more. If you can think of it then Discovery Trading Company has it! This is the perfect place to stop at for souvenirs for folks back home.
Mombasa Marketplace
Authentic African imports can be found at Mombasa Marketplace located in the Africa section of the park. Mombasa Marketplace is home to African wine, art, instruments, toys, and more. If you are looking for souvenirs that are unique and can only be found at Animal Kingdom then Mombasa Marketplace is a must-stop for you. You will truly be thrilled with this shop’s collection of imported goods and unique finds.
Windtraders
Fans of the Avatar series will love shopping at Windtraders. Located in Pandora- The World of Avatar, Windtraders is home to unique shopping and unique experiences. At Windtraders guests can purchase their own banshee that will perch upon their shoulder. Each banshee is unique just as they are in the film. Guests can also create their very own Avatar figure using a special scanner that uses their facial features. Guests can customize the Avatar to their liking and take it home. No reservations are required for this experience!
Serka Zong Bazaar
Guests who enjoy the thrilling Expedition Everest attraction should definitely stop at Serka Zong Bazaar. Located in the Asia section of the park at the exit of Expedition Everest, Serka Zong Bazaar sells all things pertaining to the mythical Yeti monster as well as ride-exclusive merchandise for Expedition Everest. Guests can find picture frames for their on-ride photo, Yeti plushies, t-shirts, housewares, and a variety of trinkets and souvenirs.
Ziwani Traders
Ziwani Traders is located in Africa near Kilimanjaro Safaris. This wild shop sells all things “safari”. You can even find oddities like Ostrich Eggs as well as other obscure collectibles. There is no telling what you might find at Ziwani Traders!
Mariya’s Souvenirs
All things Lion King can be found at Mariya’s Souvenirs. This shop is located near The Festival of the Lion King show and is the perfect place to shop for any Lion King fan. Guests can find a variety of Lion King merch including shirts, plushies, housewares, pins, Mickey ears, and other collectibles. Alongside Lion King merchandise this store also sells park-exclusive souvenirs that can only be found at Animal Kingdom.
