Two such resorts – Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins – are located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Thankfully, with both Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge being located within Wilderness Lodge, many of the amenities of one section is just a short walk away from you, even if you’re staying the other section.
Both Boulder Ridge & Copper Creek offer a handful of dining locations to choose from. While each resort has different proximity to each dining location on the property, all dining locations can be easily accessed by guests at either resort.
Enjoy craft brews, regional wines, specialty coffees and artisanal appetizers at this log-cabin themed lounge.
Each section of this resort has their own dedicated pool, but guests staying in either section can easily access either pool with ease.
Copper Creek Springs Pool
Trace the effervescent path of Copper Creek to uncover a stunning heated pool enveloped by natural beauty. Enjoy an exhilarating 67-foot waterslide carved into the rocks and unwind in the soothing hot and cold whirlpool spas.
Kids will love the recently installed play area teeming with activities. Close by, you can enjoy a bite or refreshing drink from Geyser Point Bar & Grill, either at a patio table or while lounging poolside.
Boulder Ridge Cove Pool
Immerse yourself in the relaxed allure of this aquatic haven tucked away within Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at Boulder Ridge Villas. Here, you can take a dip in the zero-depth entry pool, unwind in the whirlpool spa, or secure a coveted shaded seating area, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
One bedroom villas with an asterisk next to their maximum occupancy allow parties of 5, but bedding, linens or towels are not provided for the 5th guest.
Transportation & Parking
Both resorts offer identical transportation options. Copper Creek is a little closer to the boat transportation but Boulder Ridge is a little closer to bus stop. Guests staying at either resorts are just a 1-2 minute walk away from either transportation option.
Disney Watercraft Transportation
Embark on a water taxi journey across the Seven Seas Lagoon, cruising your way to the Magic Kingdom park.
Choosing between Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek ultimately depends on your personal preferences and needs. If you prefer a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere with a historical theme and bit quieter pool with cabanas, Boulder Ridge may be the best choice for you. On the other hand, if you want to be in the middle of the action with a Pacific Northwest theme, Copper Creek might be more up your alley.
Either way, both sections are so close to each other, guests staying at either section can easily enjoy all the amenities of the other section. And both sections do a great job at offering a unique and enjoyable stay that makes you feel close to nature while still being in the heart of Disney magic.
