A Complete Dining Guide to Disney’s Rivera Resort

Bar Riva

Disney’s Rivera Resort is the newest Disney Vacation Club property at Walt Disney World Resort Orlando. Its theming blends European exquisiteness with a hint of Disney magic. The Rivera is a resort on the Skyliner route. Dining at this resort is worth the skyline ride, regardless of whether you are a resort guest.

Bar Riva

This quick-service restaurant location serves European and Mediterranean-style food that is a step above your classic hot dogs and fries. This is a quick service location, so reservations are unnecessary. Generally, you’ll find it’s open from 11 AM to 10 PM, but hours can vary. My favorite dishes at this restaurant are the Burrata Salad, the Greek Salad, and the Spicy Italian Sandwich. The Italian Sandwich is Sliced Capicola, Salami, Ham, Provolone, and Vegetable Giardiniera. The Burrata Salad is served with Heirloom Tomatoes, Fresh Pesto, and Focaccia Bread. The Greek Salad is made with Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Onion, Feta, Crispy Greens and Vinaigrette. All of the dishes at Bar Riva are amazing.

Le Petit Café

Open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Le Petit Café is one of my favorite lounges in Walt Disney World. The selection of coffee at this location is truly unmatched. It offers anything from a latte to a mocha. Whatever you choose, you are in for a treat.

Guests can also enjoy delicious pastries that are on a rotational schedule. My favorite pastries have been the Banana Bread and the selection of croissants. The Café White Mocha for $4.99 is a favorite of mine as well. I enjoy a refreshing Mediterranean Mint Lemonade for $5.99 when I’m not in the mood for coffee. It is the perfect light and refreshing beverage.

Primo Piatto

This delicious quick-service location is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night dining options. My favorite breakfast item at Primo Piatto is the Croque Madame. For $12.99, guests will enjoy a classic French Ham and Swiss with a Fried Egg served with a choice of side. My favorite lunch option is the $10.99 Greek Salad. This salad is arguably the best in Walt Disney World. It is crispy greens tossed with tomatoes, cucumbers, artichokes, red onion, chickpeas, olives, and feta, finished with vinaigrette dressing. Delicious!

For dinner, I prefer the $14.79 Tuna Niçoise Salad. It is Seared Rare Tuna on Crispy Greens tossed with Potatoes, Green Beans, Olives, Tomatoes, Hard-boiled Egg, and Champagne Vinaigrette. And, for a late-night option, the Pumpkin-Hazelnut-Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake is my go-to. Its Pumpkin Cheesecake with Hazelnut-Chocolate Swirl, Vanilla Whipped Panna Cotta, and a Milk Chocolate-Pumpkin Coin. It’s to die for, so enjoy it while you can!

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

Topolino’s Terrace is my favorite restaurant in Walt Disney World. Getting into is incredibly popular and challenging, so make your reservation 60 days before arrival. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. Breakfast is $49.00 per adult and $30.00 per child. This sit-down meal allows you to choose an entree. The menu has so many good selections that it is challenging to choose one. My favorite is the Sour Cream Waffle, which is topped with Roasted Apples, Chantilly, and orange maple Syrup and served with a choice of Smoked Bacon, Ham, Sausage, or Plant-based Sausage. Yum!

Dinner is served from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The best part of this meal is that guests can venture out to the terrace to watch the beautiful EPCOT fireworks. For an appetizer, I recommend the $ 19.00 burrata. It is served with baby kale, beets, and candied walnuts. For an entree, I recommend the Filet Mignon. It is $59.00, but well worth it. It has Truffle Pomme Purée, Asparagus, Chanterelles, and Bordelaise. And, for dessert, the $14.00 Vanilla and Citrus Crème Brûlée is delicious. It contains a Morello Cherry Compote, Strawberry Foam, Sugared Beignets, and Chocolate Meringues. Yum!
