Many guests visit Disney World in hopes of spending time at all 4 theme parks. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom are all parks with distinct features and attractions, and all are worth visiting. However, some guests enjoy choosing their favorite of these 4 parks and scheduling their entire vacation around spending as much time there as they can. Magic Kingdom is a favorite park of many guests. It is popular for its sense of Disney magic, fantasy, and attractions featuring classic Disney films and characters. If Magic Kingdom is your favorite Disney park then consider planning a Magic Kingdom-only vacation with these tips!
Stay DVC on the Monorail Line
There are three wonderful DVC resorts that are on the Monorail line, giving you quick and easy access to Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Contemporary Resort and DVC’s Bay Lake Tower is not only on the Monorail line, but also within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom. You can book a room with a theme park view and be treated to the sight of your favorite Disney park during the entirety of your stay. Disney’s Polynesian Resort is another resort with DVC accommodations that gives you quick access to Magic Kingdom and boasts stunning views. If you stay at a DVC Bungalow you can have a great view of Cinderella castle, and even watch the fireworks from your own private balcony. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is the final resort on the Monorail line. This resort is great for guests who want to stay in a resort that is reminiscent in style to Main Street U.S.A.
Purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass
In order to make the most of your Magic Kingdom-only vacation, guests should consider purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This new option allows guests to book 3 Lightning Lane reservations up to 7 days in advance of their stay, and then continue booking Lightning Lane reservations throughout the day. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to experience all of your favorite attractions during your visit. The price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass varies depending on the day of your visit, but is currently averaging around $29 per person per day.
Schedule Enchanting Extras
Many Enchanting Extras are available within Magic Kingdom to bring extra magic to your vacation. Guests can book tours like Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom, which is an additional cost, and get a backstage look at Magic Kingdom and experience the park like never before. Guests can also book a Capture Your Moment Photo Session with a Photopass Photographer, which costs $99 for 20 minutes. On select nights, Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom allows guests to stay at Magic Kingdom 3 hours after the park closes. This event is only offered on select nights, and is an additional ticketed event.
