Snacking at Disney World is practically its own hobby with the hundreds of snacks across the parks that are available. With so many sweet options, it can be difficult to choose which snack will satisfy your sweet tooth. Not to worry! We have sampled so many snacks throughout all 4 Disney parks, resorts, and Disney Springs and were able to narrow it down to our favorite 7 treats. So, if you have a trip to Disney World coming up and love sweet treats then check out our list of the top 7 sweet snacks at Disney World.
7. Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar
When visiting Disney you must get this classic sweet treat. The Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar is also known as a Mickey-Head ice cream bar and is available at ice cream stands throughout all 4 Disney parks and Disney Springs. You can even find this classic Disney dessert at resorts as well. Vanilla ice cream is encased in delicious chocolate, and this dessert is, of course, shaped like Mickey mouse!
6. Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll
If you are looking for a snack that’s about as big as your head then head over to Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom and grab a cinnamon roll. These huge cinnamon rolls are sticky, sweet, and a fan favorite of many.
5. Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich
Magic Kingdom is also home to another one of our favorite sweet treats: the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich located at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. This waffle is smothered in chocolate-hazelnut spread and topped with fresh strawberries, banana, and blueberries. Sleepy Hollow also serves a variety of other waffles and funnel cakes, but this chocolate-hazelnut spread is our absolute favorite!
4. Beignets
If you are willing to take a detour over to Port Orleans French Quarter resort then you will be rewarded with an amazing sweet treat. The Mickey-shaped beignets located over at Scat Cat’s Club have quickly become an phenomenon. These beignets are fried and topped with powdered sugar, and served with your choice of dipping sauce. They are truly a can’t miss treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.
3. School Bread
Next on our list and my own personal favorite is the School Bread that can be found at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe at Epcot. This Norwegian treat involves a sweet roll filled with custard and rolled in coconut, and once you have one you won’t be able to stop thinking about it.
2. Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie
Hollywood Studios is where we find number 2 on our list. Over at The Trolley Car Cafe you will not only find a full-service Starbucks but also a variety of sweet treats that you can’t find anywhere else. One of these treats is the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie which is house-made daily and full of delicious cream cheese frosting. So many guests love this sweet treat, so be sure to grab one before they are gone!
1. Dole Whip
Topping our list is the famous Dole Whip, and it definitely deserves its spot as number one. This pineapple soft serve ice cream is a favorite of many guests and can be found at a few locations throughout Disney World. Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom as well as Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort are the main locations where classic Dole Whip can be found. Guests enjoy Dole Whip swirls and Dole Whip Floats as well. Try it for yourself and see why many consider it to be the best!
