The Best DVC Resorts For Toddlers

Disney Bay Lake Pool

There are many considerations when planning a trip with toddlers. Certainly one of the most important items is deciding where to stay. Within Disney World, there is a large portfolio of signature resorts–but which among these is the best for staying with a toddler?

Disney Vacation Club resorts all include amenities that will undoubtedly make a stay with little ones more comfortable: kitchenettes/kitchens, laundry facilities, easy transportation options and all the features of “home” will make your DVC stay both convenient and enjoyable.

Several stand-out resorts also feature convenient locations, dining options, and amenities that make them especially ideal for little ones. Read on for our recommendations for the best DVC resorts for toddlers!

Bay Lake Tower

Only a short walk away from the entrance to Magic Kingdom, Bay Lake Tower has a location that simply cannot be beat. The walk is approximately 10 minutes at a comfortable pace, and you can enjoy shorter lines at the walkway security checkpoint than you would typically find at the main security checkpoint to Magic Kingdom. The proximity makes it easy to visit Magic Kingdom multiple times during your vacation, or perhaps take that midday nap break back in your room!

The monorail also has a station right inside the Contemporary main building, making it easy to visit EPCOT as well.

The Contemporary is also home to Chef Mickey’s, a favorite character dining experience among toddlers. Little ones can spend time with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto right at the comfort of your table.

Stay Here If: you will be spending a lot of time at Magic Kingdom and want easy access to the monorail.

Beach Club Villas

If a beachfront vacation mixed with some Disney magic sounds right up your alley, consider staying at Beach Club Villas with your toddlers. The seaside/nautical theming matches perfectly with its unbelievable pool and water play area. Stormalong Bay boasts an impressive 3 acres of water fun including a sand-bottom pool, 230-foot water slide, lazy river, 3 whirlpool spas and 3 additional leisure pools. Toddlers will absolutely love digging in the sand and building sandcastles, or going for a splash in the pool. Plan for at least an afternoon of pool time when staying here!

When it’s time to visit the parks, EPCOT is a quick walk away–mere steps from the entrance at International Gateway. The Skyliner Station is also adjacent to the International Gateway, making it easy to visit Hollywood Studios.

Don’t forget to also get a sweet ice cream treat at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop during your stay at Beach Club Villas!

Stay Here If: your little ones love swimming, or you plan on visiting EPCOT.

Animal Kingdom Villas

For a resort your little ones will go wild for, book your stay at the Animal Kingdom Jambo House or Kidani Village. These two incredible DVC resorts have theming, decor and real wildlife that must be seen to be believed. Over 30 species of wildlife roam free across the preserve right on site: you can see impala, ostrich, zebras, cranes, vultures, pelicans, giraffes, Ankole cattle and more from numerous viewpoints around the resort…or your own room if you book a savanna view!

Stay Here If: your little wilderness explorer would love to see the animals.
