21st Birthday Disney World Celebration Tips

Celebrating a birthday at Disney World is a great way to spend your vacation. Disney World is a popular vacation destination for celebrations of any sort, but there is something extra magical about birthdays at Disney! Turning 21 is an exciting occasion and spending your 21st birthday at Disney World is the perfect celebration. Disney World is a great birthday destination for adults and it has several opportunities for fun and magic. When you celebrate your 21st at Disney you can expect a trip full of memories, delicious food and drink, and reconnecting with your inner child. If you are planning on spending your 21st birthday at Disney World then here are some of our best celebration tips!

Grab A Pin

Your first stop during any birthday or celebration trip should be to guest services, either in the parks or at your resort, for a birthday pin. This pin lets Cast Members and even other guests know that you are celebrating a special day during your visit. You can ask them to write your age on the pin so everyone realizes that you’re here for a big birthday. Cast Members will wish you well as they see the pin and you might even get some extra pixie dust along the way.

Make Advance Dining Reservations

When you have a special occasion like your 21st birthday it is important to make advance dining reservations so you can have the birthday dinner of your dreams. Some of our favorite birthday dinners for a 21st include Biergarten in EPCOT’s Germany pavilion. This restaurant serves a wide variety of German beers on tap as well as an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet full of classic German favorites. With live music and performances throughout the meal, this restaurant really feels like a party in itself.

Another restaurant that is perfect for a 21st birthday meal is Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This classy restaurant on the water has a view of Cinderella Castle, and at night you can even watch the fireworks in the distance. If you are wanting something more upscale for your 21st with great wine selections then you can’t go wrong with Narcoossee’s.

Drink Around World Showcase

Many guests love drinking around the world at EPCOT’s World Showcase. What better way to celebrate your 21st birthday than by sampling delicious drinks from several different countries? Some tips for drinking your way through World Showcase include pacing yourself, drinking lots of water, and not overdoing it. You don’t want to spend your special day sick! Some of our favorite World Showcase drinks include the cocktails at La Cava Del Tequila, Violet Sake in Japan, and Schofferhofer Grapefruit Beer in Germany.

Monorail Bar Crawl

If you aren’t planning on spending your 21st in the parks you can still enjoy a fun monorail bar crawl. There are several bars and lounges located within the DVC resorts on the monorail line. Some of our favorites include Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the Polynesian, and the Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
