Amazing Pools and Other Recreational Activities
Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is home to three great pools. The main pool, Luna Park Pool, is a carnival themed pool with 200 foot-long waterslide made to look like an old pier roller coaster. This large pool is home to a whirlpool spa, kiddie splash pool, and poolside bar serving snacks and beverages. Luna Park Pool also hosts daily poolside activities like trivia and games. This resort also contains two leisure pools for guests looking for a more relaxed swimming experience. Both pools also contain whirlpool spas.
Disney’s Boardwalk Resort also hosts Campfire Activities nightly, movies under the stars, surrey bike rentals, and guided fishing excursions. Guests can also take advantage of the resort’s pickleball and tennis courts, jogging paths, and children’s playground located near Luna Park.
Community Hall
Many DVC resorts contain a Community Hall for guests to enjoy, including Disney’s Boardwalk. The Community Hall hosts daily crafts and activities and also contains boardgames and DVDs for rent. Guests can even play video games, foosball, watch movies, or color. Community Halls are great for killing time on rainy days, or taking it easy during a day of rest.
Restaurants and Night Life
One major perk of staying at Disney’s Boardwalk is the boardwalk itself, which is home to several restaurants, bars, and activities. Jellyrolls piano bar is for guests over 21 years of age, and is a prime nightlife location for not just resort guests, but locals as well. This club features twin baby pianos and pianists that can play just about anything! Another nightlife location on the boardwalk is AbracadaBar, a magician’s themed bar serving magical drinks and creations.
Other popular locations on the boardwalk include Carousel Coffee, coffee shop serving specialty drinks and pastries. Boardwalk Deli is a great option for a sandwich at lunch, and Flying Fish restaurant for great seafood at dinner.
Spacious and Cozy Rooms
The recreation at Disney’s Boardwalk is great, but guests will be thrilled with their spacious and cozy DVC rooms. When staying for a resort-only vacation, it is important for you to feel comfortable in your room. Boardwalk’s DVC villas are available as studio rooms, and 1, 2, and 3-bedroom villas. The multi-bedroom villas come equipped with a full kitchen and laundry machines so guests can truly feel at home during their stay.
