During your long-anticipated vacation to the most magical place on earth, the last thing you want is for your day to come to an early end due to inclement weather. While a daily rainstorm is a likely occurrence, it does not have to derail your park plans! Just find a place to spend some time while you wait out the storm, and you’ll perhaps discover a new favorite attraction in the process.

True to its name, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has plenty of characters and entertainment to enjoy in all kinds of weather. When it starts raining during your visit to Hollywood Studios, head to one of these handy spots.

For the First Time in Forever: A “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration

When a storm approaches while you’re in the heart of Hollywood Studios, head to this popular sing-along experience near Echo Lake. During For the First Time in Forever: A “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration two lively “Royal Historians” retell the story of “Frozen” through sing-alongs and jokes. You’ll also see the beloved characters from the film appear on stage. This interactive show is entertaining for all ages and a great way to spend 30 minutes while waiting out the rain.

Star Wars Launch Bay

Fans of the Star Wars franchise will love exploring Star Wars Launch Bay, and the air-conditioned, darkened exhibits are the perfect respite from a rainstorm or the afternoon heat. See props, costumes, replicas, artwork galleries and more.

Star Wars Launch Bay is also home to several popular character meet-and-greets: Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and BB-8! If you are a Disney Visa cardholder, you can also find the cardholder-exclusive PhotoPass spot where you can meet Darth Vader with minimal wait.

Walt Disney Presents

For those who enjoy learning Disney history, Walt Disney Presents provides a fascinating exploration into the life and career of the man himself. During the rain, take your time browsing the gallery of photographs, sketches and artwork, models, costumes and more. After touring the gallery stay and watch the 15-minute documentary Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream

Disney Junior Play and Dance!

If you have little ones with you, you can avoid the rain and get their wiggles out at Disney Junior Play and Dance! During this live stage show your little Disney Junior fan can dance along to a high-energy musical celebration featuring Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Timon and Roadster Racers Mickey Mouse. During this 10-minute show, the DJ encourages kids to move, clap, make some noise and raise the roof while the characters show off their moves on stage.
