Every Saturday before noon, Wind & Waves Grill hosts a character breakfast that you and your kiddos just can’t miss. Starring Goofy and Pluto in their beachy best, this character breakfast includes a drink, entree, and a basket full of yummy pastries and biscuits. Goofy and Pluto will come to your table for a photo and some meet and greet time, you might even get to meet them twice during your meal. Kids can choose from entrees like French Toast sticks and scrambled eggs, while adult menus feature a selection of eggs benedict, blueberry pancakes, and more. Remember that this character dining experience is only available during Saturday mornings. Advance dining reservations are strongly recommended.
Enjoy the Pool With Complimentary Life Jackets
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is home to an incredible pool and waterslide. The pool area is set up perfectly for families, and complimentary life jackets are available for all kids to use. These come in various sizes and weight limits, so there will surely be one for your child to enjoy. Other complimentary items include pool noodles for children to play with during their swim.
Enjoy the Tiger Lily Splash Playground
Preschoolers who can’t swim yet will absolutely love the Tiger Lily splash playground. This little pirate ship has water squirters and a small slide; perfect for tiny swimmers. Parents can dip their feet in the wading area as they watch their little ones play.

Every week, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort hosts various events and activities for every age group. Upon checking in, be sure to grab a calendar of that week’s events. There are typically preschool-aged activities that occur like the Tots Scavenger Hunt and more.
Utilize the Community Hall
Disney’s Vero Beach, like many DVC resorts, is home to a Community Hall. Here you can participate in daily crafts and activities, including those tailored towards younger kids. Many of these crafts are free, but there are a few paid extras you can enjoy. Guests can also rent DVDs here, and board games and video games inside the lobby area of the resort.
