The Best And Most Festive Week To Visit Walt Disney World – 2023

Halloween + Christmas at Disney

The Fall and Winter are very popular times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort because of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Wouldn’t it be grand if you and your family could attend both parties during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation?! Well, with a lot of careful planning and a little bit of magic, you can do just that!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom Park held on select nights from August 11 to November 1, 2023. The party presents unique amusement, characters, attraction overlays, treat stops, photo opportunities, and specialty food options. The most captivating part? Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the rare times that adults can dress up in costumes!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom Park. The event is held on select nights from November 9 to December 22, 2023. At this party, guests can enjoy warm cocoa and Christmas cookies while walking around a festive Magic Kingdom Park, enjoying beloved attractions. There will also be a fireworks show, a parade with Santa Claus, and snow on Main Street, USA. It is an event that you will surely want to attend.

So, if you want to experience both holiday parties, when should you vacation at Walt Disney World in 2023?

The answer is simple: arrive in Orlando in the early afternoon of Wednesday, November 1, and plan to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at 7:00 p.m. that evening. It will ensure that you attend the last Halloween Disney Party of the season. When you wake up the following day, the Magic Kingdom Park will have transformed from an Autumn delight to a Christmas-themed wonderland, complete with a Christmas tree, holiday overlay on the castle, decor throughout the park, and spirited music playing in the background.

You and your family can enjoy a week of holiday magic, relaxation, and fun. While all the Christmas-themed events will not be in full swing yet, you will be at Disney World at the start of the Christmas season. You can enjoy Christmas at the Magic Kingdom without a heavy crowd and cool temperatures.

How can you attend both parties on the same Disney vacation? Start your vacation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Plan to stay at Walt Disney World until the morning of Friday, November 10. This way, you can attend the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season on Thursday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m.

If you can take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, I highly encourage you to do so. Be warned, though, once you do it, I bet you will like it so much that you want to do it again. After all, there  is no better place to get into the holiday spirit than Walt Disney World. So, enjoy your vacation and Happy Holidays!
