Stitchmas! Brings Lilo and Stitch to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2026

Stitch hosted a masquerade in Tomorrowland during Halloween, and he is staying at Magic Kingdom through the holidays. Disney has added a new dance party called Stitchmas! to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for 2026. Lilo and Stitch host the event with a few friends and a heavy dose of island holiday spirit. Here is what families should know about the new experience, where it takes place, and how it fits into the party night.

What Is Stitchmas!?

Stitchmas! is a character dance party open to guests of all ages, and it is included with a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. Disney describes it this way: “Celebrate Stitchmas! at an out-of-this-world holiday party. Dance, sing and play along as Lilo and Stitch reminisce with some of their closest friends about holidays on the island. Make merry memories together as you rock around the tinsel tree!”

Disney has not said which friends will join Lilo and Stitch. Angel danced with the pair at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party earlier this year, so she is a reasonable guess. Guests will likely have to wait until opening night to see the full lineup.

Based on Disney’s description, here is what families can expect:

  • Dancing and sing-along moments led by Lilo and Stitch
  • Interactive play-along segments designed for younger guests
  • A storyline built around Lilo and Stitch remembering holidays in Hawaii
  • A tinsel tree centerpiece that ties into the holiday theme
  • Appearances by unannounced friends from the Lilo and Stitch films

Where and When to Find Stitchmas!

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

Stitchmas! takes place inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland on select party nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026. The My Disney Experience app does not list set times yet.

For reference, Disney Jr. Jingle Jam occupied the same space in 2025 and ran for the full party, from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. If Stitchmas! follows that pattern, families should have flexibility to drop in at any point during the evening rather than planning around a single showtime. That is still unconfirmed, so it is worth checking the app on the night of your visit.

How Cosmic Ray’s Has Changed Over Recent Parties

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café has served as a party venue for several years, though the entertainment inside has shifted. Club Tinsel, the DJ dance party that once filled the restaurant, moved to the Rockettower Plaza Stage in 2025. That opened the indoor space for Disney Jr. Jingle Jam, which drew a younger crowd.

Disney’s 2026 party listing no longer includes Jingle Jam, which suggests Stitchmas! is now the main dance option for young children. Because it is indoors, it also gives families a place to warm up or take a break between the parade, fireworks, and castle stage show. On cooler December nights, that can make a real difference for small kids.

Stitch’s Second Hard-Ticket Party of 2026

This is not Stitch’s only after-hours appearance this year. In the spring, Disney announced A Masquerade with Stitch for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. That dance party was held outdoors at the Rockettower Plaza Stage. Stitch changed themes each time he pulled a new accessory from Lilo’s Costume Trunk, and Lilo and Angel joined him on stage.

Stitchmas! takes a different approach. It moves indoors and swaps the costume trunk concept for a holiday story about life on the island. With these two events, Stitch now hosts a dance party at both of Magic Kingdom’s hard-ticket events in 2026, a clear sign of how much Disney is leaning on the character this year.

Getting Tickets to the Party

Seeing Stitchmas! requires a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and availability is limited. Prices range from $189 to $229 plus tax depending on the date. At the time of writing, 16 of the 25 party nights had already sold out.

If Stitchmas! is a priority for your family, keep these tips in mind:

  • Check remaining dates soon, as the open nights continue to sell out.
  • Confirm Stitchmas! is listed for your specific night, since Disney says it runs on select dates.
  • Look at the My Disney Experience app for set times once they are posted.
  • Plan to visit Tomorrowland during a gap between the parade and fireworks to avoid crowds.
  • Have kids wear comfortable shoes, since the event is built around dancing.

Final Thoughts

Stitchmas! gives Lilo and Stitch fans a new reason to stop by Tomorrowland during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It replaces Disney Jr. Jingle Jam as the indoor dance option for young guests and continues Stitch’s run at Magic Kingdom’s special events this year. With most party nights already gone, families hoping to join the fun should secure tickets quickly and keep an eye out for set times and character announcements as opening night arrives.
