There’s so much to do and see when you visit the parks at Walt Disney World. Many guests find “rope dropping” to be an essential tactic for their Disney vacations. Popular Attractions to Get in Line For
Hollywood Studios is home to several popular attractions that tend to have long wait times throughout the day. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a great attraction to head toward first thing in the morning. Guests can also get in line for Slinky Dog Dash, another popular attraction that can develop long waits. Other attractions like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway are also great options for the morning.
Breakfast Locations
Starting your Disney’s Hollywood Studios day with breakfast is easy with several quick-service options throughout the park. The Trolley Car Café is located near the park entrance and serves Starbucks coffee, pastries, and other breakfast items. Guests can also visit Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge for the popular Ronto Morning Wrap. Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land is another breakfast option where guests can enjoy items like the Breakfast Bowl and Lunch Box Tarts.
Popular Photo Spots
Hollywood Studios is full of great photo opportunities, and arriving early can give you the chance to grab some photos before the park becomes busier. Hollywood Boulevard with the Chinese Theatre in the background is one of the most classic photo spots in the park. Guests can also head to Galaxy’s Edge for photos with the Millennium Falcon or stop by Toy Story Land for colorful and fun backgrounds. Early morning is a great time to get some family photos out of the way!
Popular Character Meet and Greets
Guests who love meeting Disney characters will have plenty of opportunities at Hollywood Studios. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse meet guests at Red Carpet Dreams where they are dressed for Hollywood. Olaf can also be found nearby at Celebrity Spotlight. In Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge guests might encounter characters like Chewbacca, Rey, and other familiar faces while exploring the land. Other Morning Activities
Rope dropping Hollywood Studios doesn’t have to mean running straight toward the most popular attraction. Guests can also use the morning to experience rides that might have shorter waits like Star Tours- The Adventures Continue, Toy Story Mania!, or Alien Swirling Saucers. You can also spend some time simply exploring Galaxy’s Edge or Toy Story Land before crowds become heavier. Getting a few things done early can leave plenty of time for shows, snacks, and other experiences later in your day.
