Places to Dine at Disney World for Italian Cuisine



Mama Melrose

Those who are fans of Italian food will be happy to learn that there are several delicious Italian options located throughout Disney World. With restaurants that vary from Italian-American to authentic Italian, there is truly something available for everyone’s taste. If you or someone in your family is big on pastas, pizzas, and everything in-between, then check out some of these places to dine at Disney World for Italian Cuisine.

Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano

This causal dining location with a Hollywood twist is located at Hollywood Studios. Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano is cozy, hole-in-the-wall style restaurant that takes Italian comfort food to a new level. Mama Melrose serves all of your classic American-Italian dishes like Mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, chicken parmesan, and various Italian pastas with shrimp or chicken. Guests can indulge in a cannoli, gelato, tiramisu, or cherry-chocolate cake for dessert, as well as enjoy a large selection of both Italian and California wines. Guests love Mama Melrose for its small-town atmosphere and casual yet comfortable dining room.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Magic Kingdom’s Italian restaurant has a cute Lady and the Tramp theme and a delightful menu of American-Italian cuisine. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is the restaurant where Lady and the Tramp shared their iconic kiss, and guests can find nods to the classic Disney film throughout the dining room. Guests can enjoy signature garlic bread for the table as well as fried mozzarella sticks and house salad. Entrees include favorites like spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp scampi, fettucine alfredo, and chicken parmesan. For dessert, guests can choose from gelato, tiramisu cannoli, Italian strawberry shortcake, and a specialty flourless chocolate cake with pistachio cream and cherry mousse.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

EPCOT’s Italy pavilion is a great place to find authentic Italian food. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is home to the best pizza on property according to some guests. Via Napoli serves authentic Italian cuisine including traditional Neapolitan pizza, hand-crafted and cooked in wood-burning ovens fresh daily. Guests can enjoy homemade focaccia, Bresaola,  Mozzarella Caprese, as well as several authentic pastas including tortellini and manicotti, and of course a wide variety of incredible pizzas. Desserts include tiramisu, Limoncello floats, sorbet, and cannoli. After their meal guests can enjoy Italian coffee or cocktails.

Trattoria al Forno

The parks aren’t the only place to get great Italian food! Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is home to Trattoria al Forno, a diverse Italian restaurant serving both classic dishes and modernized favorites for both breakfast and dinner. For breakfasts, guests can enjoy buttermilk pancakes alongside tiramisu bread pudding, caprese omelets, Florentine frittatas, and more. For dinner, indulge in truffle gnocchi, Shrimp Pappardelle, Lasagna al Forno, and Pizze Margherita. Unique desserts include a plant-based olive oil cake and a chocolate flourless torta.

Tutto Italia Ristorante

More authentic Italian dining awaits you at EPCOT’s Italy pavilion! Tutto Italia Ristorante is another restaurant at EPCOT’s World Showcase that offers delicious Italian cuisine. This casual restaurant serves salmon, steak, chicken, and short rib, all prepared in the Italian style. Several pasta options are available including lasagna, spaghetti, and fettucine. For dessert guests can enjoy Limoncello floats, sorbet, gelato, and cannoli.
