Walt Disney World Resort has recently announced a price hike for parking at their theme parks. The increase comes alongside a general rise in prices across the resort. Let’s take a look at what changes have been made, and explore how you can avoid paying these new parking fees!
The New Parking Prices
The cost of standard parking for a day at Walt Disney World theme parks has been raised by $5, making it now $30 for cars. Preferred Parking pricing varies between $45 and $55, depending on the date of visit.
Parking Type | Previous Price | New Price | Increase |
---|---|---|---|
Standard parking: car or motorcycle | $25 | $30 | +$5 |
Oversized Vehicle Parking | $30 | $35 | +$3 |
Preferred parking: car or motorcycle | $40-$50 | $45-$55 | +$5 |
Annual Passes Price Increase
This parking price surge coincides with the increased prices applied to all four tiers of Walt Disney World Annual Passes on October 11th. The Sorcerer Pass witnessed a $30 increase, while the Pixie Dust Pass saw a $40 rise. Both the Incredi-Pass and Pirate Pass experienced a $50 price increase.
Food & Beverage Price Increase
Visitors to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on October 11 were also met with escalated food and beverage prices. This inflation impacts nearly every restaurant across Walt Disney World and affects both items specific to individual locations and general snacks and beverages such as pretzels, the Nestle Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar, and soft drinks.
Return of All-Day Park Hopping
Disney also revealed the upcoming return of all-day park hopping. This service, which was limited to just 2:00 PM onwards since 2021, will be available again to Annual Passholders and any guest with a Park Hopper ticket starting January 9, 2024.
DVC Member & Renter Parking Fees
All guests (DVC and non-DVC) staying at any of the Disney World resorts or hotels receive complimentary theme park parking for the length of their stay. Guests also have the option to use the complimentary monorail, skyliner, bus, and boat transportation services at the resorts and hotels.
