The day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived, new Disney World Annual Passes will go on sale September 8th! Disney teased the news about Annual Pass sales when the Magic Key Program was announced for Disneyland Resort , but we had little to go off of at the time. Now we have all of the information on the sale of new passes!

Although previous Passholders were able to renew their Annual Passes throughout the last year and a half, new passes have not been available for purchase. There will be some changes to the Annual Pass tiers, so let’s dive into everything you will need to know before buying your new pass.

Disney Pixie Dust Pass

The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is exclusively for Florida residents. The new pass price will be $399 plus tax, with the renewal price of this pass being $339 plus tax, or $31 per month with 12 monthly payments.

What You Get

  • Visit one or more Disney World theme parks with an advanced park reservation
  • Availability for most weekdays, has blockout dates during holiday and peak times
  • Can hold 3 park reservations at once depending on availability
  • Passholders who stay at select Disney Resorts will be able to make additional park reservations for each day that they stay in the Resort
  • Bonus days will occasionally become available for park reservations throughout the year
  • Able to be customized with add-ons (PhotoPass, Water Parks)
  • Standard parking included
  • Discounts on dining and merchandise

Disney Pirate Pass

Another Florida resident exclusive, the Disney Pirate Pass will give you more for your money. This Annual Pass option will cost $699 plus tax, or A renewal price $594 plus tax. Florida residents can pay monthly with $53 per month for 12 months.

  • Visit one or more Disney World theme parks with an advanced park reservation
  • Availability for most days, has blockout dates during holiday and peak times
  • Can hold 4 park reservations at once depending on availability
  • Passholders who stay at select Disney Resorts will be able to make additional park reservations for each day that they stay in the Resort
  • Bonus days will occasionally become available for park reservations throughout the year
  • Able to be customized with add-ons (PhotoPass, Water Parks)
  • Standard parking included
  • Discounts on dining and merchandise

Disney Sorcerer Pass

For those who are Florida residents OR Disney Vacation Club Members, you are able to purchase the Disney Sorcerer Pass. This pass will cost $899 plus tax for a new pass, or a renewal price of $764 plus tax. Florida residents can pay with 12 monthly payments of $68 per month.

  • Visit one or more Disney World theme parks with an advanced park reservation
  • Availability for most days, has blockout dates on select days during holiday and peak times
  • Can hold 5 park reservations at once depending on availability
  • Passholders who stay at select Disney Resorts will be able to make additional park reservations for each day that they stay in the Resort
  • Bonus days will occasionally become available for park reservations throughout the year
  • Able to be customized with add-ons (PhotoPass, Water Parks)
  • Standard parking included
  • Discounts on dining and merchandise

Disney Incredi-Pass

The Disney Incredi-Pass will be the ultimate Disney adventure, available to everyone around the globe. The price for this tier will be $1,299 plus tax for a new pass, or a renewal price of $1,104 plus tax. Florida residents can pay with 12 monthly payments of $98 per month.

What You Get

  • Visit one or more Disney World theme parks with an advanced park reservation
  • No blockout dates
  • Can hold 5 park reservations at once depending on availability
  • Passholders who stay at select Disney Resorts will be able to make additional park reservations for each day that they stay in the Resort
  • Bonus reservations will occasionally become available throughout the year
  • Able to be customized with add-ons (PhotoPass, Water Parks)
  • Standard parking included
  • Discounts on dining and merchandise

Add Ons

A couple of previously included options will now become paid add-ons.

Disney PhotoPass Downloads

Disney PhotoPass Downloads can be added on to any Annual Pass option for an additional $99 plus tax. The add-on price will be even lower for those who are renewal Annual Passes.

Water Park and Sports Option

Disney Annual Passholders will be able to add on the Water Park and Sports option for $99 plus tax. This allows Passholders to enjoy even more than the theme parks, but also Disney’s thrilling water parks. If you are renewing your pass, the cost will be even lower.

One free add-on that Annual Passholders can look forward to is the brand new Passholders magnet that features a new look. Annual Passholders can receive up to two magnets per household as the most adorable thank you from Disney.

Park Reservation System Enhancement

Disney announced a while back that the Park Reservation System will be around for the foreseeable future. Therefore, Disney has been making enhancements to the Park Reservations calendar.

The new calendar will make its debut on September 8th as well. It will not only show park availability, but will also show booked reservations and blockout dates in order to streamline guests’ experience.

Which is Right For You?

Becoming an Annual Pass Member in time for the 50th anniversary celebration will be the perfect way to be able to celebrate as often as you wish. It will also be the best way to get into some of the newest attractions and dining locations that will be opening for the celebration in October.
