Guests who are visiting Disney World for the first time might be surprised by all of the shows and live entertainment options to enjoy. While Disney World is well-known for their state-of-the-art attractions and rides, they are also the home of incredible live entertainment and shows. Taking time out of your Disney day to appreciate shows and parades is important if you want to really want to experience the atmosphere of the Disney parks. All 4 of the Disney parks have some form of show or parade to enjoy. If you have an upcoming visit to Disney World then be sure to check out these must-see parades and shows.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Located in the heart of Magic Kingdom on the Cinderella Castle stage, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is an unforgettable show that is sure to put you in the Disney spirit. During this show you will see just about all of your favorite Disney characters as they put together a royal celebration. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald are just some of the classic characters you’ll see alongside Rapunzel, Tiana, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Daisy. You’ll hear and see your favorite Disney songs performed like “Let it Go” and “I’ve Got a Dream”. This show runs periodically throughout the morning and afternoon so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch it.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
Another crown jewel of Magic Kingdom is the Festival of Fantasy Parade. This parade runs from Frontierland down through Main Street twice daily, but guests should check their Disney World app to be sure of the performance times. Each parade float is designed to perfection and perfectly embodies the characters who are on it. Guests can see Anna, Elsa, Tiana, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Beast, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, The “Fab Five”, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and so many more.
For the First Time In Forever- A Frozen Singalong Celebration
Hollywood Studios is home to a show that is a delight for any Frozen fan. At face value, this singalong celebration might not seem like much. But with it being narrated by live actors, and seeing Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff live onstage, it is definitely a must-see production. Guests will really “Let it Go” when they sing their hearts out as Elsa brings snow to central Florida. This show is loads of fun for adults and kids alike.
The Festival of the Lion King
Did you know that Animal Kingdom is home to a Broadway-style show? The Festival of the Lion King celebrates the story of The Lion King in a way that you’ve never seen before. With live actors, audio-animatronics, and even acrobats, this show is truly a can’t-miss production. Several songs from The Lion King are performed with incredible talent. And of course you’ll get to see your favorite Lion King characters during this show as well.
