Must-Do’s for a Short Vacation at EPCOT



Short vacations to Disney World don’t have to mean sacrifices on attractions and fun! While most guests prefer to spend at least two days per park during their trips, there are still ways to maximize your time during short vacations. EPCOT can be a tricky park for short vacations with its many attractions and World Showcase which is why nailing down a list of must-do’s is essential for your planning. Sea Base

Many guests don’t realize that EPCOT is home to an incredible aquarium. Sea Base is located at the exit of The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction and is a can’t miss experience for any lover of marine life. Sea Base is not only home to sting rays, dolphins, manatees, and more but also Turtle Talk With Crush. Guests can easily lose themselves exploring Sea Base and all it has to offer. Turtle Talk With Crush is a great attraction where guests can interact with Crush the sea turtle in real time as he asks the audience questions and invites them to question him as well. Sea Base is an attraction that is both educational and entertaining, which is exactly what EPCOT is all about.

Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana

One of EPCOT’s newest attractions is already a must-do. Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana is a walkthrough attraction located near The Seas with Nemo and Friends. This experience takes guests through the water cycle and invites them to play and interact with water in various ways. Guests can choose to either get wet or stay dry during this experience. This attraction is perfect for families or groups of people with varying ages.

Spaceship Earth

Perhaps the biggest must-do for EPCOT is going inside the park’s icon and riding Spaceship Earth. This attraction invites guests to step foot inside the EPCOT ball and travel through time as they experience the history of mankind through audio-animatronics and intriguing storytelling. This attraction celebrates the progress of mankind from the discovery of fire to the invention of the internet.

Dine at World Showcase

Dining at one of World Showcase’s many restaurants is a great way to experience cultures when you are short on time. Guests can stroll through World Showcase and sample foods from quick-service restaurants like Katsura Grill or Regal Eagle Smokehouse, or sit down for dining experience at table services like Teppan Edo or Chefs de France.

Luminous: The Symphony of Us!

There is no better way to end your day at EPCOT than with a nighttime spectacular. Luminous: The Symphony of Us! is a stunning show that takes place on World Showcase Lagoon nightly. Guests can witness stunning fireworks and other visual effects during this incredible show celebrating what brings humanity together.
