Kilimanjaro Safaris

Animal Kingdom’s most popular attraction is definitely a must-do for any guest of Disney World. Kilimanjaro Safaris is an incredible attraction that gives guests a true African safari experience. The animals during this attraction are free-roaming so you never know what you might see and the sort of experience you’ll have. Each safari vehicle is guided by a knowledgeable cast member who recites facts about each animal along the way. During Kilimanjaro Safaris you can expect to see giraffes, elephants, antelopes, lions, and more.

Character Dining At Tusker House

Character meals are a great way to make the most of your time during your short vacation. Restaurants like Tusker House allow guests to get one-on-one time and photos with their favorite characters without waiting in lines in the park. Tusker House offers buffets for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as Donald Duck and his friends wander the restaurant and greet you. Tusker House serves a menu with African-inspired foods and desserts, alongside American food for those who are less adventurous eaters.

Pandora: The World of Avatar

One of the most immersive lands in all of Disney World is located in Animal Kingdom. Pandora: The World of Avatar, invites guests to step onto an alien planet filled with bioluminescent forests and floating mountains. Exploring here is a must-do for all guests, but especially for guests who are fans of the Avatar films. Pandora is home to attractions like Flight of Passage and Navi River Journey, and also Satu’li Canteen for a quick-service meal.

Discovery Island Trails

The epitome of Animal Kingdom lies within Discovery Island Trails. These trails surround The Tree of Life park icon and are home to several animal exhibits including otters and flamingoes. Guests can not only discover animals here but also take in serene views of nature and have fun strolling and exploring.

Expedition Everest

This roller coaster is one of Animal Kingdom’s greatest thrill rides. Guests 44 inches or taller can experience the legend of the forbidden mountain as they dare to climb to the peak of Mt. Everest. Reaching top speeds of 50 miles per hour, this attraction is not for the faint of heart!
