Overview

Tusker House Restaurant located in Africa of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a character dining, sit down meal. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an all you can eat family style. Let’s just start by saying this, Tusker House is an absolute star when it comes to character dining experiences. This is one of the best ones available, in particular when it comes to being in the parks.

The characters at Tusker House include Daisy, Donald, Mickey, and Goofy. They are all dressed up in their Safari gear when they come out to greet guests. The characters come out one by one to each table. Every table guests the opportunity to get a hug and visit with the characters for a little bit. They come out two at a time usually, Donald and Daisy as one pair (of course) and Mickey and Goofy as the other. Before they exit and prepare for the next duo to enter, the characters even do a little dance throughout each dining area for entertainment. It is an absolute blast to see the faces light up when Disney fans of all ages get to meet the characters.

In addition to the character experience, the food is also something special. The breakfast platter is hearty and delicious, and the Egg Curry gives a delicious twist to a traditional breakfast meal. The lunch and dinner menu is also absolutely delicious and gives guests a little exotic flavor that is hard to find at many character dining meals. Also, Tusker House can accommodate any of the top 8 allergens so it is also a great choice for those with dietary restrictions. Even better, the meals are all you can eat, so bring your appetites.

Guests can expect to pay $27 per child and $42 per adult at breakfast and $36 per child and $55 per adult for lunch or dinner. Although this will be one of the pricier meals you’ll find at Animal Kingdom, you will certainly not regret it! A meal at Tusker House Restaurant is definitely a must do.
