Toy Story is one of Disney Pixar’s most popular franchises, and for good reason! Memorable characters, fun adventures, and emotional scens that we’re still not over (Looking at you “When She Loved Me”)! Walt Disney World is the perfect place to take your child who dreams of playing along with Andy’s toys! I’m about to go over the Must Do Attractions for your Toy Story Loving Child, so get the snakes out of your boots and giddy up partner!
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
This attraction is perfect for Toy Story fans of all ages and heights! Climb aboard a slow moving vehicle on an adventure to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg! Each ride vehicle is equipped with blasters used to fire at the targets and aliens you find along your way through space! At th end you can compare your scores and maybe even try again to ahieve the elsuive “Galactic Hero” status! This is the only Toy Story attraction not located in Toy Story Land, as Space Ranger Spin is located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
Toy Story Land
Step into Andy’s Backyard and shrink to the size of a toy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Toy Story Land is the place to be if your child is a Toy Story fan. One of the best parts about Toy Story Land is the low height requirements. Kids of almost all ages will be able to experience these family friendly attractions! You also never know who you’ll see, as Woody, Buzz, and Jesse meet guests in the land throughout the day!
Toy Story Mania is a 4-D carnival style shooting game featuring your favorite Toy Story friends. This ride is a fast paced – and very competitive – dark ride that the entire family will enjoy. Kids are sure to enjoy seeing Woody and Buzz popping out of the screen and greeting guests as they arrive at their respective games! This attraction also has zero height requirement, so everybody in your party can compete for the top score!
If your child loves the Little Green Men who worship The Claw, they’re going to get a kick out of Alien Swirling Saucers. Think like a slightly more intense version of the teacups. While you get whipped around, your ride will be accompanied by tehcno remixes of popular Toy Story songs, even sad ones like When She Loved Me (I know what you’re thinking, and it’s actually kind of a bop)! This attraction welcomes all guests 32 inches and above.
Lastly, the staple of Toy Story Land is Slinky Dog Dash. Slinky Dog takes you and your child on a family friendly roller coaster ride through Andy’s Backyard. This attraction is also perfect for kids looking to for a bit of a thrill, but also might not be ready for rides like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! Your child must be 38 inches or taller to climb aboard Woody’s best pal Slinky Dog, and I bet they’ll be wanting to ride it again and again (Might be worth looking into Genie + to avoid that wait time though)!
