Calling all Moana fans! The wait is almost over to enjoy the new walk-through attraction coming to the center of EPCOT. The new attraction – part of EPCOT’s transformation into a Storytelling Destination – will bring guests on an immersive journey full of wonder and excitement that celebrates the power of water.

According to recent rumors and projections, the highly anticipated ‘Journey Of Water, Inspired By Moana’ will be coming to Walt Disney World Resort in fall 2023. It promises to be the ultimate adventure for all ages! The news came to light when members of Disney Rewards received a special email introducing them to this captivating experience. According to the email, those who join in on the fun early can enjoy exclusive advantages such as discounts and access to unique experiences.
As Disney has done historically with new attractions coming to the Walt Disney World Parks, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members are also expected to be able to take advantage of an exclusive preview period prior to the grand opening of Journey of Water.
Lots To Look Forward To In 2023
Now that rumors and hints are pointing to a fall 2023 opening date for the Journey of Water attraction at EPCOT, this just adds to the excitement of what Disney has planned for this year. With the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad, TRON coming to Magic Kingdom in April, and Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder celebrations kicking off in just over one week, 2023 is shaping up to be an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World.
