Poly

Did you know that you can enjoy a Disney vacation without ever entering a Disney park? Girls Day is essential, and if you are worried that a day at Disney will break the bank for your gathering this year then consider having a girls day at Disney without entering a park! Disney World in Florida is home to several resorts with deluxe accommodations, recreation, shopping, and dining. Disney Springs is also a free-to-enter shopping center where you can find entertainment as well. If you want some ideas for your next girls day but can’t do a day at the parks then check out some of these fun non-park activities!

Monorail Bar Hopping

Riding the monorail is a fun way to hop around and see some deluxe Disney resorts during your stay. Many guests love “monorail bar hopping” and visiting some of the deluxe Disney lounges and bars. You can grab snacks or meals during your visits and also check out some resort shopping, and overall take in the scenery throughout these stunning resorts. Some bars and lounges that you simply must visit include the Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This Beauty and the Beast themed lounge features themed cocktails and enticing appetizers. At Disney’s Polynesian Resort be sure to check out Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto for themed tiki drinks like you’ve never had before. This exciting bar uses real effects like lighting and sound to make your drink come alive. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to Outer Rim, which is a bar set up with an incredible view of Bay Lake as well as delightful cocktails and small plates.

Spa Treatments

You don’t have to be a guest of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to book a spa service at The Grand Floridian Spa. What better way to spend your girls day than with a relaxing massage, manicure, or facial. Reservations are required at this full-service spa so be sure to book in advance.

Resort Dining

Resort dining is a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring, shopping, and experiencing Disney World as a whole. Some of our favorite restaurants at Disney Resorts for a girls day include Olivia’s Cafe at Old Key West for either brunch or dinner, Ohana Restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Resort for a lively enviroment, Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for some character interactions, and Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for a laid-back casual meal.
