Disney World is a wonderful vacation destination for families, and especially for those with small children. Disney makes it easy to take vacations with babies, toddlers, and preschool-age children thanks to stroller rentals, stroller accessibility, attractions without height requirements, and baby care centers. Traveling with children who are still napping can be intimidating for some guests, but like most things with Disney you don’t have to worry. Doing Disney with kids who nap is still very possible, and there are many options for guests who are traveling with napping children. Keep reading for our advice on doing Disney with kids who nap.
Stay On Disney Property
Staying on Disney property at one of the many Disney resort hotels is the easiest way to vacation with children who still take naps. You can quickly and easily return to your Disney resort by taking Disney buses, the monorail, Skyliner, or the boat taxis depending on where you’re staying. When you stay DVC you have access to DVC villas that have separate bedrooms, making it easy to tuck our little one in for their nap while the grown-ups relax in another room or the main living space. DVC villas also come with great amenities that are useful for traveling with children, like full kitchens and laundry machines.

Rent Strollers
Even if your child is old enough to walk, renting a stroller during your vacation is an easy way to make sure they stay comfortable during the day. Disney offers both single and double stroller rentals, with many parents opting for the double stroller for more space to lay down and relax. Even if your child doesn’t sleep, laying in the stroller can allow them the rest they need to continue on with the day.

Nap On The Go
Many parents choose to nap on the go rather than take the time to return to their resort room. Disney parks have no shortage of walking space, so if your child falls asleep in the stroller you can walk around while they rest. Parents can shop, walk the parks, enjoy some snacks and drinks, and even watch live entertainment while their child sleeps soundly in the stroller.

Nap On Rides
Believe it or not, there are plenty of rides that kiddos can fall asleep on! Many rides allow parents to hold their child on their lap during the experience. Rides like Spaceship Earth that are mainly in the dark and slow-moving can really put a baby or toddler to sleep. Another popular attraction for naptime is Carousel of Progress, which is an animatronic stage show in the dark and air-conditioning.

How do you handle your napping kiddos during your Disney vacation? Do you nap on the go or take them back to your resort? We want to hear from you in the comments below!
