We are about to dive back into a “Big Blue World” and we cannot be more excited! The newly reimagined Finding Nemo show, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! will be debuting in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 13th, 2022 in the Theater in the Wild.

Although the show will be the newly reimagined version, this will be the first time that the Finding Nemo Musical will have graced the stage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in over 2 years due to the pandemic. We were teased with the opening of the show back in December of 2021 when Disney released information about returning entertainment, but at that time no other definitive opening date was available.

Finding Nemo - The Big Blue... and Beyond!

Even though the show will have a new storyline that includes “catching up with the fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in Finding Nemo who made their way across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute,” there will still be popular songs from the previous show such as  “In The Big Blue World” and “Go with the Flow.”

Now we know that guests will be able to take a deep dive into the world of Nemo and all his ocean friends with this exciting new show on June 13th. Guests will also be able to book a Lightning Lane pass on Disney Genie+ for Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond, so you won’t even need to wait very long to get in.

Are you a “Finding Nemo” or “Finding Dory” fan? Have you been waiting for this musical to reopen? Let us know in the comments below if you plan to be there on its June 13th opening day!
