Disney’s ‘Ohana Dinner Review

Ohana

At Walt Disney World Resort guests can find various dining options throughout the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs. And one of my favorites is located at the Polynesian Resort: ‘Ohana! ‘Ohana offers a breakfast and dinner option. For breakfast, you can dine with Lilo and Stitch family-style, but today we are going to discuss their dinner option. Bringing to life Hawaiian-influenced flavors, this all-you-can-eat experience is not one to miss!

Starters

During our last trip to ‘Ohana, we started with a mixed greens salad. It was topped with carrots, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a vibrant citrus vinaigrette. This came out with some fresh Signature ‘Ohana Bread that had honey butter on the side for spreading!

After the salad and bread, we were brought a skillet with dumplings, chicken wings, veggies, and my favorite: ‘Ohana noodles. The dumplings came with a pork filling and were served to us covered in a flavorful garlic-chili sauce. The wings were Honey-Coriander and hard to put down- between these and the noodles I was in paradise!

Dinner Skillet

While finishing up the starters, we were brought even more food! Our next skillets came with shrimp, chicken, and beef. The shrimp was peel-n-eat and topped with ‘Ohana seasoning, while the chicken came covered in a pineapple-guava glaze and the beef was grilled with a teriyaki flavor. Everything was tender and mouthwatering! In previous years, these options were brought around by waitstaff off of skewers, offered one by one to each person at the table. However, we preferred having everything brought to the table in skillets and plates- it just makes it easier for everyone!

Dessert

Dessert at ‘Ohana is worth saving room for; I’m not a bread pudding person by any means and even I cannot say no to this stunning dessert. The ‘Ohana Bread Pudding is topped with a few scoops of ice cream and homemade caramel sauce!

Drinks

‘Ohana offers a variety of drinks- non-alcoholic specialties include coffee, smoothies, spritzers, and lemonades. However, for our dinner, we took advantage of the signature cocktail options. We ordered the Raspberry Mojito, a mix of raspberry puree, lime juice, Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, and Bacardi Raspberry Rum. This drink is finished off with soda water and mint and is a fruity and refreshing option. We also ordered the Rum Swizzle- tropical juices paired with the Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, a perfect pairing for the Hawaiian-inspired flavors of ‘Ohana!

Plant-Based and Allergy Friendly

For guests looking for a plant-based option, ‘Ohana provides rolls, mixed green salad with citrus dressing, and hummus with chips to start. This is followed by a plant-based skillet that includes the following: jack fruit, “chicken,” “sausage,” roasted vegetables, and ‘Ohana noodles. The jack fruit is pineapple-barbecue flavored, while the “chicken” is chimichurri. They also provide a bread pudding that is paired with a soy-based frozen dessert according to their website. And you can find an allergy-friendly menu online– each item states what it is and which allergies it accommodates.

Overall, ‘Ohana is a great dining option! It is $62 per adult and $40 per child, and this price does not include tax and gratuity. Despite the price, the food is wonderful and plentiful, and the overall aesthetic and theming make it such a fun and worthwhile experience!
