Finding the perfect souvenir during your Disney World vacation can feel difficult when there are so many options. Disney World is a great place to shop with dozens of shops throughout all 4 parks, the resorts, and throughout Disney Springs. If you are anything like me, you are thoughtful in your purchases and take value and longevity into account. There are classic Disney souvenirs like balloons, shirts, and hats, but which souvenirs are a great value for your dollar? If you have an upcoming visit to Disney World and plan on souvenir shopping then continue reading for some souvenir ideas that are a great value.
Souvenir Popcorn Bucket
This souvenir is not only something fun to take home, but something you can use throughout your time in the parks as well. Souvenir popcorn buckets are available at any popcorn stand, with some stands having special park-exclusive and limited edition designs. The basic popcorn bucket will cost you around $14-$15 and any refill after that is just $2.25 for the entire length of your stay. You can refill your bucket at any stand with some stands having specialty flavored popcorn. Deluxe popcorn buckets will cost you a bit more, but all buckets feature fun designs with characters and themes. After your stay you can bring your bucket home with you and use it for other things or fill it with your own popcorn to feel as if you are back at the parks again.
Reusable Resort Mugs
Another souvenir that is useful for your vacation and also back home are the reusable resort mugs. These mugs can be found at any resort’s quick-service restaurant. They cost $22.99 and allow for free fountain beverages, coffee, and tea for the entire length of your stay. These mugs can be used at any resort, but cannot be used within the parks. Guests who are using the Disney Dining Plan get a mug included with the cost of their plan. These mugs are insulated, hold 16 ounces of liquid, and can be used for hot or cold drinks. They are the perfect souvenir to take back home with you and relive your vacation with your morning coffee. The designs for these mugs vary and change frequently, but they always have a fun Disney theme with your favorite characters.
Silhouettes
Both Main Street U.S.A. and Liberty Square are home to silhouette stands where expert artists craft a one-of-a-kind souvenir. These silhouettes start at $14 for one person but you can have more than one person for the image. Frames are also available to purchase for an additional cost. What makes these pictures a great value is that guests get two copies for the price of one; perfect for gift giving!
Phone Cases
One of my favorite souvenirs to recommend to guests is a phone case. Throughout the parks you will find kiosks in which you can customize your own phone case. Guests can choose from a wide variety of designs and even add their name or other personal information. You then choose which model phone you have, and your case is printed onsite and ready to use. These cases are very reasonably priced and are something that you can use daily making them a great value for your dollar.
