Disney is making sure that EARidescence is available in every corner of Disney World, even the resorts. It has just been announced that characters will make appearances at Resort Hotels during the 50th anniversary celebration.
Which Characters Can You Expect?
The “Fab Five” Disney characters, which includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto; will don their spectacular outfits and greet guests in special appearances throughout the day at the resorts. This will be an amazing way to see the EARidescence outfits a little more “up close and personal” than what you may find in the parks. Disney has not specified whether these new character interactions will be physically distanced or not, but either way, we can’t wait to see those new outfits on our next DVC reservation.
Just The Beginning of 50th Anniversary Festivities
These special new character meet and greets will begin on October 1 with the rest of the anniversary celebrations. The celebration will last 18 months from start to finish, and we are sure every second of it will be absolutely magical featuring many changes to the park such as: new cast member name tags, an EARidescent transformation of many iconic structures, the launch of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion at Epcot and much, much more!
