We’ve all heard of the monorail bar crawl at Disney World. It’s a great opportunity to see all of the monorail resorts while also having some tasty drinks around the monorail loop. However, what some people tend to forget is the unique snack offerings each resort offers.
From savory desserts to delicious bites to snack on, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best snacks on the monorail loop. You can either do this on its own or combine the monorail bar and snack crawl for the ultimate monorail crawl!
Contemporary Resort
Starting our monorail snack crawl at an iconic resort on property! The Contemporary Resort has many restaurant options, but Contempo Cafe is where you’ll go for snacks since it’s the only quick service available.
Contempo Cafe has some delicious desserts mainly, so if you’re saving for a sweet treat, this is the place for it! Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums Cupcake goes perfect with the Incredibles theme of the Contemporary rooms. There’s also a monorail-specific dessert called Monorail S’mores Brownie!
Polynesian
The Polynesian Resort has so many savory snack options, ranging from quick bites to desserts. Starting off in the Grand Ceremonial House, Tambu Lounge has some iconic food from the beloved restaurant ‘Ohana. You can snack on the Pot Stickers or share a tasty California Roll.
You can’t go to the Polynesian without getting a classic Dole Whip. This iconic treat can be found right outside the Grand Ceremonial House and you can either get the basic Dole Whip or a Pineapple Dole Whip float.
Grand Floridian
One of the most beautiful resorts on Disney World property, Grand Floridian has so much to offer guests either staying or visiting the resort. Gasparilla Island Grill is a great quick service option on property, but its seasonal desserts are some of the best. From cupcakes to mini cakes, this location designs and creates some of the best savory treats you can find.
Looking to drink while you snack? Enchanted Rose Lounge is the place for that. Starting at 5PM, the lounge offers snacks like Hummus, House-made Truffle Fries and Charcuterie. Go to the lounge early though, the wait list can fill up fast!
