Best DVC Resorts For Guests Who Love EPCOT

Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club

EPCOT is a favorite Disney World park for many guests. Between the attractions, festivals, dining, and 11 World Showcase pavilions, it is easy to spend multiple days exploring everything the park has to offer. If EPCOT is one of your family’s biggest priorities during your Disney vacation, choosing the right DVC resort can make your park days even easier. Several DVC resorts offer especially convenient transportation to EPCOT, including options that allow you to walk or take the Disney Skyliner directly to the park.

Disney’s Beach Club Villas

It is hard to beat Disney’s Beach Club Villas when EPCOT is the main focus of your vacation. The resort is within easy walking distance of EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance, allowing guests to enter the park between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. This can be especially convenient for guests who plan to spend lots of time exploring World Showcase. Beach Club Villas also gives guests access to Stormalong Bay, making the resort a great place to spend the afternoon before walking back to EPCOT for dinner or evening attractions.

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas is another excellent option for guests who want to stay close to EPCOT. Guests can walk from the BoardWalk area directly to EPCOT’s International Gateway rather than relying on a bus to reach the park. The location makes it easy to visit EPCOT for just a few hours at a time. You could spend the morning in another park, relax at your resort during the afternoon, and walk over to EPCOT for dinner without having to dedicate an entire day to the park.

Disney’s Riviera Resort

If you love EPCOT but don’t necessarily need to be within walking distance, Disney’s Riviera Resort is a great alternative. Riviera has its own Disney Skyliner station, giving guests direct access to EPCOT’s International Gateway without needing to transfer at another resort. The Skyliner can make the trip to EPCOT feel like part of the fun, and it is especially convenient for guests planning multiple EPCOT visits throughout their vacation. Riviera is also a great choice for guests who plan to divide their park time between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios since the Skyliner provides access to both parks.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Bay Lake Tower may be known for its convenient location near Magic Kingdom, but it can also work well for EPCOT fans. Guests can easily access the monorail system from Disney’s Contemporary Resort and travel to EPCOT with a transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center. This option takes longer than walking from an EPCOT-area resort, but it gives guests another fun transportation option. Bay Lake Tower can be particularly useful for families who expect Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to receive most of their park time.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can also be a convenient choice for guests planning plenty of EPCOT time. One of the biggest advantages is the resort’s location near the Transportation and Ticket Center. Depending on where your room is located, guests can walk over to the Transportation and Ticket Center and board the EPCOT monorail from there. This makes the Polynesian an appealing option for families who love both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT and want convenient transportation options for reaching each park.
