The Most Overlooked Details at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Disney World is a vacation destination that is well-known for its theme parks like Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But some guests still don’t realize that Disney World is so much more than just attractions and shows. Disney World is just that, a massive world containing things to do and places to stay. Staying on property during your Disney vacation can unlock even more magic, and guests don’t even have to leave resort grounds to enjoy their trip. Staying at a DVC resort means you can experience deluxe accommodations. And there’s more to do than just sleep! Here are some details that guests often overlook at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

Poolside Cabanas

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is well-known for its pool area. Stormalong Bay is widely considered to be one of the best resort pools at Disney World. This pool is more like a mini waterpark than a resort pool, and guests can easily spend an entire day playing in it. Luckily for guests of Disney’s Beach Club they can take advantage of renting a poolside cabana. Poolside cabanas are available for all-day rentals and come with cocktail services, phone chargers, a mini fridge with complementary soda and water, towels, and even a safe for valuables.

Campfire Activities and Movies Under the Stars

There’s more to explore at Disney resorts than guests realize! Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of many deluxe resorts that feature campfire activities and movies under the stars. In select areas at these resorts guests can experience a lit campfire nightly with marshmallow kits available and Cast Members leading activities like stories and singing. Large inflatable projection screens will show a Disney movie nightly, and guests are invited to bring blankets and relax while they enjoy the film.

Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf

Disney’s Beach Club is unique because it is home to the only miniature golf course at Disney World. Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf is a special Disney mini golf experience that you can’t get anywhere else. Featuring 18 holes each themed to Disney’s Fantasia; this miniature golf course is open to guests for $19 per adult and $12 per child.

Boat Rentals and Fishing

Like other deluxe resorts, Disney’s Beach Club offers boat rentals and fishing excursions for an additional fee. Guests can rent pontoons and other boats as they explore the nearby waters. They can also book fireworks cruises for EPCOT’s nightly spectacular that can be seen nearby, and guided fishing excursions where you are guaranteed a catch. These experiences are available for an additional cost, and they are recommended to be booked in advance. Othe resorts offering boat rentals include Disney’s Grand Floridian, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
