With continued easing Covid-19 restrictions in the state of Hawaii, Disney Aulani Resort announced great news this week: Aunty’s Beach House will reopen on May 25, 2022! This resort-exclusive kids club is typically popular among families who visit Aulani, but has remained closed even after the resort reopened on November 1, 2020 after being closed for over 8 months.
Aunty’s Beach House is just one of the many resort amenities that are included with your stay at Aulani. Available to children ages 5 through 12, Aunty’s Beach House is designed with kids’ interests in mind. It contains 6 different rooms, all themed to a different activity, as if they have a fun day planned at their aunty’s house! From arts and crafts to movies and computers to song and dance, there is something for everyone. There is even an outdoor space with a playground which is always a crowd pleaser and you never know which characters will stop by to say hello!
In addition to the complimentary activities available at Aunty’s Beach House, guest can also register for premium experiences. One premium experience that is currently available is Surf’s Up, A Surfin’, Fishin’ and Dancin’ Party. Have fun while learning something new with some favorite Disney Pals. Guests will play surfing games with Max (Goofy’s son), decorate their own mini wooden surfboard, learn about colorful Hawaiian fish with Goofy, and of course, dance!
Aunty’s Beach House is available between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day beginning on May 25, 2022. Guests must make an advanced reservation for up to 1.5 hours on “uncle’s side” of the house where the complimentary activities are offered and a maximum of 2 hours where the premium activities take place. Certain health protocols are now in place. In addition to capacity limits and physical distancing, guests can expect to have their temperature checked and be asked to wear a face covering. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance either online or by calling the resort directly at (808) 674-6943 between the hours of 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM.
With its reopening, Aunty’s Beach House is offering something new! “After hours” for families begin on May 25, 2022 as well. Between 4:00-9:00 PM, caretakers and their children can visit Aunty’s Beach House together to explore a variety of entertainment offerings such as ukulele and animation classes and pose for unique photo opportunities.
