Did you know that Disney World is not only home to 4 theme parks, 2 waterparks, and dozens of resorts, but also to a massive shopping and entertainment center? Disney Springs is free to enter, and is the central hub for some of the best stores, restaurants, bars, and activities at Disney World. Disney Springs, like all other areas of Disney World, is family-friendly and has things to do for guests of all ages. Teenagers can have great visits to Disney Springs, and there are some must-do’s that you and your teen simply cannot miss. If you have an upcoming visit to Disney World planned then consider popping into Disney Springs for these must-do’s with your teens.

Aerophile- The World Leader in Balloon Flight

You don’t have to enter a Disney park for a thrilling experience! Aerophile- The World Leader in Balloon Flight is an experience that is totally unique to Disney Springs and a total must-do for your teenager. During this experience guests float high above Disney World for 8 minutes in a tethered balloon. Guests reach a height of up to 400 feet during this crazy balloon ride. The basket holds up to 29 guests as well a pilot. Guests can get incredible views during this experience! Guests under 12 must ride with an adult. Tickets are $29.99 for guests 12 and older, and $24.99 for guests ages 3-12. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis, and this attraction will not run during high winds or poor weather.

Splitsville Luxury Lanes

Did you know that you can go bowling in Disney Springs? Splitsville Luxury Lanes is a great place to go to have some family fun with your teenager. This nostalgic bowling alley is perfect for families. Guests can bowl as well as dine on some yummy and unique food like sushi and burgers. Lanes must be reserved ahead of time.

Vintage Amphicar Tours

Still looking for ways to thrill your teen during your visit to Disney Springs? Check out the Amphicar located at The Landing. This attraction will wow your teen with a tour of Lake Buena Vista in a retro-style boat car. The tour can hold up to 4 guests; perfect for families, and costs $125 per car.

Anthropologie

Does your teen love to shop? Disney Springs definitely has you covered. There is an Anthropologie located at Town Center; the perfect shopping destination for your trendy teenager.

Basin

Another shop that teenagers just can’t miss is Basin. This is your must-stop shop for all things bath, body, and perfume. The goodies here are all-natural and made from healthy ingredients so parents don’t have to worry.

Gideon’s Bakehouse

We’ve talked to a lot of teenagers and they all agree that Gideon’s Bakehouse is a must-do. Guests simply must try these enormous cookies for themselves to see what the hype is about. Gideon’s Bakehouse serves classics like chocolate chip cookies, as well as unique flavors like the Peanut Butter Cold Brew. Flavors rotate often, so be sure to stop in and see what they have!
