Disney has been making some major announcements, and not just for Walt Disney World. There are some big changes coming to Disneyland as well. From changes in Park Hopping, free PhotoPass on rides, cheaper tickets for the California parks there is certainly a lot to talk about. Let’s get started!
Park Hopping Changes
Since Disneyland Resort reopened with Park Hopping, guests were not able to jump from one park to the other before 1:00 PM. However, beginning February 4th Disneyland Resort guests will be able to begin Park Hopping at 11:00 AM instead of 1:00 PM. This is major news for guests and a step in the direction of getting rid of Park Hopping restrictions all together.
Free PhotoPass On Rides
Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads that are taken on any PhotoPass available attraction in the park will be complimentary for ticketed park guests. This new perk also begins on February 4th and the PhotoPass options will stay complimentary throughout Disneyland Resort’s Disney100 Celebration.

- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT
- Incredicoaster
- Radiator Springs Racers
More Affordable Park Tickets
Another way that Disneyland Resort will be celebrating the Disney 100 years of wonder is by adding two months worth of lower ticket prices onto the calendar. The lowest price for Disneyland tickets is $104 per ticket. Guests will be seeing these lower prices throughout the 2023 year.

These newest announcements for Disneyland Resort are exciting and add value, but they are not the only things that are happening. The Disney100 Celebration comes the opening of the Mickey & Minnie Runaway Railway in the updated ToonTown. In addition, there have been some major announcements for Walt Disney World Resort as well.
