7 DVC Resorts In 7 Days – The Benefit Of Spilt Stays

Who says you have to enjoy just one Disney Vacation Club Resort on your visit to Walt Disney World? After all there are 11 DVC Resorts in Orlando, each offering their own unique experience! Choosing to stay at multiple DVC Resorts in one trip is called a “Spit Stay”. This type of Disney vacation can provide variety, convenience, and more. Disney will transport your luggage from your first resort to the next upon request to help make the logistics as simple as possible. With so many DVC Resorts at Disney World, you could even enjoy a different resort each night – 7 resorts in 7 nights! DVC Shop offers plenty of single nights stays that can help you achieve this challenge. Read on to see our proposed 7 resorts in 7 nights itinerary!

Night 1 – Old Key West

One of the many benefits to staying at a DVC Resort is the current water park promotion. Admission to one of Disney’s waterparks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, in included for your check-in day! This currently applies to stays now through summer of 2026. Because of this perk, we recommend staying in a resort close to the water parks like Old Key West! What’s exiting about staying at a new DVC Resort each night is that you can take advantage of this perk more than once if you wanted!

Night 2 – Bay Lake Tower

To really kick off your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, we suggest staying a resort close to the Magic Kingdom! Bay Lake Tower is one of the most conveniently located DVC Resorts at Walt Disney World. You can take the monorail, a boat, or even the walking trail right into Walt Disney’s World very first park. The location of this resort is also ideal for exiting the park as the transportation options like buses tend to get very crowded at the end of the night.

Night 3 – BoardWalk Villas

Once you check out of Bay Lake Tower, you can take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation center and board the EPCOT monorail for your second park day. We recommend staying at one of the resorts near this park for your third night such as the BoardWalk Villas! From this resort, you can enter and exit EPCOT with ease through the World Gateway entrance. Take the short walking path or one of the Friendship Boats at the end of the night to BoardWalk.

Night 4 – Beach Club Villas

Next, take the short trip across Crescent Lake to check-in to the Beach Club Villas! We recommend staying at Beach Club for a day off from the parks. This resort has one of the best pools at Walt Disney World: Stormalong Bay. This 3 acre pool features a sand bottom, a 230 foot-long waterslide, a lazy river, and more! Because Beach Club is connected to the BoardWalk via a walking path around the lake, you can enjoy its many restaurants and entertainment offerings in evening after a day at the pool!

Night 5 – Riviera Resort

After your day off from the parks, we suggest heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You can take a 25-minute walk to this park from Beach Club or hop on one of the Friendship Boats. For night 5, you’ll want to check-in to one of the Skyliner Resorts like the Riviera! The Skyliner will provide easy transportation back to your resort after your day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Night 6 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas

Once you check-out of the Riviera, we recommend checking in to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas. This is the closest resort to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! Bus transportation is offered to this park. You can even see many animals, like Zebras and Giraffes, right at this resort. It is quite the sight to see! Because Disney’s Animal Kingdom tends to close a bit earlier than the others, you might want to consider eating back at the resort. Delicious dining options include: Boma – Flavors of Africa, Sanaa, and Jiko – The Cooking Place.

Night 7 – Grand Floridian

The perfect way to end your magical vacation is take one last trip to the Magic Kingdom. So we recommend heading back to one of the Magic Kingdom resorts, such as the Grand Floridian! In addition to the convenient location of this resort, its elegance will provide a great end cap to your visit to Walt Disney World! Additionally, this resort’s lobby is the middle of receiving a brand new look that you won’t want to miss!

For as long as Emily can remember, Disney has played a huge role in her life. Her infatuation with Disney resulted in many hours spent rewatching Toy Story and creating multiple powerpoints to convince her parents to book yet another vacation to the “Most Magical Place on Earth”. In 2015, Emily followed one of her dreams and moved to Orlando, Florida where she spent just over five years working for the mouse in three separate roles.
