The Disney Dining Plan can lessen the stress of budgeting when it comes to dining during your vacation. The standard Disney Dining Plan includes one quick-service meal, one sit-down meal, and one snack per person per day of your vacation. Sit-down dining at Disney World not only offers great food for your family, but also incredible themed experiences and a break from the busy parks as well. Guests will want to make advance dining reservations for their sit-down dining credits as soon as they are able to in order to ensure a magical experience. When deciding which restaurants to book for the dining plan guests will want to consider where they might get the most value for their meal credit. In other words, where would you typically not book if you were paying directly out-of-pocket? Here are 5 of our favorite restaurants to make reservations for when you have the Disney Dining Plan!

5. Garden Grill Restaurant

Located in EPCOT’s The Land pavilion, Garden Grill Restaurant is home to one of the best character dining experiences that Disney has to offer. Garden Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with each meal offering visits from Chip, Dale, Farmer Mickey, and Pluto. Not only do these characters come around to visit your table multiple times, but the dining room is also slowly rotating offering guests views of the popular attraction: Living With the Land.

Priced at $62.00 for adults and $40.00 for children during lunch and dinner, Garden Grill is a great value for the Disney Dining Plan. Your meal is served family-style and consists of an all-you-care-to-enjoy farm fresh feast. Garden salad, cornbread, veggies, grilled steak, roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and seasonal pie for dessert make for an incredible meal that is sure to fill the bellies of everyone in your family.

4. Liberty Tree Tavern

Another delightful all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant is Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. This restaurant is located in Liberty Square and feels like a cozy colonial restaurant from another era. Guests are treated to an all-American feast consisting of mixed greens salad, roasted turkey, pot roast, roasted pork with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herbed stuffing, mac and cheese, and an Ooey Gooey Toffee cake for dessert. With the dining plan, guests aged 21 and over can enjoy one specialty cocktail like the house-made sangria or have a Samuel Adams on tap. Priced at $42.00 per adult and $23.00 per child, Liberty Tree Tavern is a great pick for someone who normally wouldn’t spend so much on a single meal without the Disney Dining Plan.

Shrink down to the size of a toy and enjoy the family-style feast that Andy’s toys have prepared for you. Guests should expect to be periodically interrupted by Andy or his mom so be sure to freeze when you hear them coming!
