Did you know that there is a DVC resort option when visiting Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure park? DVC’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a stunning lodge-style resort located within walking distance to both California-based Disney parks. You’ll love this resort for its DVC villas and suites, dining opportunities, and pools. There is something for everyone in your family to enjoy at DVC’s Grand Californian. Here are just 5 of our favorite fun things to do at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

1. Have Breakfast With Princesses

Napa Rose restaurant located within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel offers a 3-course breakfast experience with some of your favorite Disney princesses. This extravagant princess breakfast includes photos and meet and greets with the princesses on a private patio. Young children will get a keepsake to take home from this experience. The 3-course meal includes options for both children and adults. Starters include assorted fruits, pastries, and sandwiches. Main courses include mac-and-cheese, waffles, and beef sliders for kids, and scrambled eggs and rotating meats for adults. Desserts include cake pops, tarts, macaroons, and sorbet.

This fine-dining experience is currently priced at $135 for adults and children.

2. Take A Swim and Relax In A Cabana

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has three relaxing pools for guests to enjoy. The Fountain Pool is located within a peaceful garden and is perfect for a day of relaxation. The Redwood Pool is a bit more exciting with its 90-foot waterslide, children’s pool, and whirlpool hot tub. The Mariposa Pool is lit with decorative lights and ornamental butterflies are placed throughout.

Poolside Cabanas are available to rent at The Fountain Pool and The Mariposa Pool. These cabanas are for a maximum of 6 guests and include lounge chairs, a love seat, coffee table, a television, as well as complementary water and fruit. Reservations are required and pricing varies, so be sure to check with the front desk if you are interested in renting a cabana during your stay.

3. Enjoy A Spa Treatment

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is home to Tenya Stone Spa, a relaxing and rejuvenating full-service spa. Signature Services include the Tenya River Stone Massage, Citrus Grove Face and Body Treatment, and Gemstone Sparkle Facial. A wide-variety of massage services, body services, and skin treatments are available, as well as nail, hair, and foot treatments. Tenya Stone Spa also offers wellness activities such as sunrise yoga in the parks, paddle board yoga in the Fountain Pool, and power walking in Disney’s California Adventure before park opening. Reservations are required for all spa experiences. Check in with the front desk during your stay to see what is available to you during your trip.

4. Enjoy Exercise and Take A Walk

The Eureka Fitness center resides within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. This state-of-the-art exercise facility is a great way to get your workout in during your vacation. This gym has everything you need for a proper workout including treadmills, weights, and machines. The Eureka Fitness Center also has classes available. Not a gym person? Take a brisk walk throughout the Grand Californian Resort and walk to Disney’s California Adventure Park.

5. Enjoy The Lounge and Grab A Drink

Hearthstone Lounge within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is the perfect spot to grab a drink and a snack at the end of a long Disney day. This lounge features a full bar-service and a menu full of tasty bites like pizzas, crab cakes, shrimp, and an assortment of desserts. You will love cozying up to the fireplace while you sip your drinks and relax.
