Why EPCOT is the Most Underrated Theme Park

Are you planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort but contemplating whether or not you should make time to visit EPCOT? If so, read on to learn why visiting Epcot is worth your time.

Mission Space Play Zone

Did you know that of all the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, EPCOT has the most play areas? When my family and I vacation at Disney World, we prioritize carving out time so that our kids can truly enjoy all these incredible play areas have to offer. Our absolute favorite play area is the Mission Space Play Zone. Right between the Mission Space ride exit and the Mission Space gift shop is an incredible, air-conditioned room featuring an indoor playground (Space Base) and nearby interactive video games. You can access this zone by entering through the gift shop. The best part is that guests don’t need to wait in an attraction line to get there. Since it’s never busy, my family and I consider it our best-kept secret to beating the heat. Enjoy!

World Showcase Shows

Have you ever wanted to walk around the world in less than a day? Well, at EPCOT, you can do just that! As you travel the World Showcase, you will notice that each country offers captivating, family-friendly entertainment. You can enjoy live music from recognized German artists at the Germany Gazebo in Germany. In Japan, you can experience Matsuriza, an exhilarating Japanese drum show that is a delight for guests of all ages. You can experience a Circle-Vision 360 presentation featuring some of Canada’s most breathtaking sights in Canada. Ultimately, you will be satisfied no matter what country you choose to attend.

The Festivals

Do you love celebrations? My family and I do. Fortunately, every time we go to Epcot, there is always a festival. Our favorite festivals are the Food and Wine Festival, the Festival of the Holidays, and the Festival of the Arts. During these festivals, each country around Epcot has its own food booth. So, if you want to try escargot from France or cheddar cheese soup from Canada, attend an Epcot festival. In addition to the yummy food, there are always beautiful decorations to enjoy. Trust me, an Epcot festival is worth your time. I love learning about different cultures and countries. Nothing is better than trying authentic foods as I immerse myself in culture. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I have.
