Disney World is a massive property that acts like its own city at times. With dozens of resorts to choose from, 4 theme parks, 2 waterparks, and Disney Springs, guests might feel intimidated by the size of it all. Luckily, Disney has its own free transportation system that makes it easy for guests to travel to all of the parks. DVC resorts are deluxe resorts, and one massive perk in staying DVC is being close to everything and having access to transportation like the monorail or the Skyliner. If you want quick transportation to and from the parks then take a look at which DVC resorts are close to each park.
Magic Kingdom Area Resorts
These resorts are located on the monorail line so guests can get to Magic Kingdom in just a few minutes. Transfer to EPCOT at the TTC is also available at these resorts.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
This resort is a classic Disney resort and is stylized after the elegance of the Victorian-era. The DVC villas here are spacious, bright, and have a hint of Mary Poppins-inspired decor. There are several restaurants here, both quick-service and table-service.

Bay Lake Tower
This resort is the first stop on the monorail line after leaving Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Contemporary Resort features an innovative design in which the monorail goes through the building. The DVC villas are modern and sleek, and it’s so close to Magic Kingdom guests can actually walk there if they choose.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Another resort on the monorail line is Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Together with the new DVC Island Tower, this resort transports guests to the Polynesian islands. Featuring a lively pool with a volcano waterslide, and its own Dole Whip food stand, guests love this resort.

EPCOT Area Resorts
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
This resort is within walking distance to EPCOT. Disney’s Beach Club is home to Stormalong Bay which is the largest water play area at a resort. Guests love this resort for its understated elegance, and its close distance to EPCOT’s International Gateway.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
Across the lake from Disney’s Beach Club is where you’ll find Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. This resort is also within walking distance to EPCOT, or you could take a boat over to International Gateway. Disney’s Boardwalk is best known for its boardwalk full of restaurants, food stands, and entertainment.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Area Resorts
Disney’s Riviera Resort
The only DVC resort on the Skyliner route is Disney’s Riviera Resort. This gives guests fast access to Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT as well. Disney’s Riviera Resort features stunning artwork, and European style and flair.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Area Resorts
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
While this resort doesn’t have any exclusive transportation associated with it other than Disney buses, it’s still nice for guests to be so close to Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom is a favorite park of many, and if you plan on visiting it more than once you might love being so close with Animal Kingdom Lodge. You can also get your own private views of animals from the savanna-view villas.
