One of the most beloved Disney experiences for children, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, has been unavailable throughout the last year, but hopefully will reopen soon. In preparation for that exciting day, we are here to let you know what exactly is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and why do kids love it so much?

What Is It?

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a specialty salon on Disney property that creates fantasy transformations. Little girls will become Disney princesses, and little boys will become knights, all with the help of a Fairy Godmother-in-Training.

Different packages are offered at each location including Salon services such as hairstyling and make up, as well as fitting children for costumes.

Locations

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has three locations:

• Disney Springs Marketplace
• Magic Kingdom (requires a park ticket and reservation)
• Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Hairstyle Options

Disney Diva – Hair pulled back with ponytail hairpiece added, teased on top, with hair accessories for decoration.

Fairytale Princess – The most classic princess look, the hair is swept to the top of the head in a bun and topped with a tiara.

Color Star – The Fairy Godmother will sprinkle some magical color into the princesses hair.

Imaging Package

You might have noticed that some of the packages come with a keepsake photo. If you wish to purchase a package that does not include the photo, no need to worry! The Imaging Package can be added on to any package as an extra.

The Imaging Package includes one 6” x 8” photo and four 4” x 6” photos.

In addition, if you purchase the Memory Maker package, it will include all images taken at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and send them directly to your My Disney Experience app to keep.

Things To Know

There are a couple of things to keep in mind for your child’s visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

• Reservations are strongly encouraged to guarantee a spot.
• Children must be between ages 3-12 years old to receive services.
• Hair must be brushed and clean.
• Children need to bring their own brush or comb for the Fairy Godmother to use on their hair during the appointment.
• No gels, hairspray, mousse, or other styling products in the hair.
• Fingernails must be clean and nail polish free.
• Scalp needs to be clear of any conditions for 30 days.
• Accessories can be added to any package.
• Prices vary depending on the princess costume chosen.
• Appointments last approximately 30-60 minutes.
