This early part of the new year is the perfect time to visit any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. The weather is absolutely beautiful, the Christmas and New Year’s crowds are gone, and the festivities of Disney’s 100 Years Of Wonder celebrations are about to kick off. That’s exactly why we thought it’d be a  welcome addition to point out some absolutely wacky changes happening in park hours for the next few months.

You can always use the My Disney Experience app to check Disney theme park hours, but we’ve done the work for you! If you’ve made it this far in this article, might as well scroll to the sections below that point out some odd fluctuations in park hours for the next few months.

Magic Kingdom

If you’re planning on visiting Magic Kingdom on January 31st, your day will be cut short at 4:30 PM due to the park closing for a private event. Also, there are some dates speckled throughout February where you stand to lose an hour of park time at night.

Date Opening Time Closing Time
Normal Hours (Now – Feb 25) 9:00 AM 11:00 PM
January 31 9:00 AM 4:30 PM
February 2, 8, 13, 16 & 20 8:00 AM 10:00 PM

Epcot

The park hours at Epcot are a lot less of a moving target, just be aware that on February 25th you’ll be able to sleep in an hour longer before heading to the park.

Date Opening Time Closing Time
Normal Hours (Now – Mar 1) 9:00 AM 9:00 PM
February 25 10:00 AM 9:00 PM

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios will actually be adding a half-hour to the end of the date from February 20th to the 25th.

Date Opening Time Closing Time
Normal Hours (Now – Mar 1) 8:30 AM 9:00 PM
February 20 – 25 8:30 AM 9:30 PM

Animal Kingdom

And lastly, Animal Kingdom park hours are a little all of the place for February. Some days you will gain an hour in the morning, other days you’ll gain another hour on top of that in the evening.

Date Opening Time Closing Time
Normal Hours (Now – Mar 1) 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
January 29 + February 1, 2, 5, 10, 11, 12, 16 – 25 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
