Walt Disney World Introduces Water Park Seasonal Pass

Typhoon Lagoon Castaway Creek

Walt Disney World has announced a new offering: a Water Park Seasonal Pass. This pass will be valid for the winter and spring seasons, extending up to May 24, 2024, and comes without any blockout dates.

Water Park Seasonal Pass Pricing

Adults (10+)

$79 per person

Kids (3-9)

$73 per person

The seasonal pass is priced competitively at $79 for those aged 9 and above, and $73 for children aged between 3 and 9. Infants below the age of 3 can enter the water parks for free. When compared to the standard day ticket price of $69 or $63, this means that visitors can get access to the water parks for more than half a year for an additional $10.

Changes In Water Park Operations

The passes are valid for either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, depending on which one is operational at the time. Currently, Typhoon Lagoon is open, but it is expected that they will switch to Blizzard Beach during the winter months. Blizzard Beach was last open from November 2022 to March 2023 before closing for refurbishments on the same day that Typhoon Lagoon was reopened.

It’s worth noting that since 2020, Disney has not been operating both water parks simultaneously. They used to have long closure periods, but both parks were open at the same time. Annual Passholders still have the option to add the Water Parks and Sports option to their passes for $99, giving them year-round access to the water parks.

However, visitors should be aware that the Walt Disney World water parks may close due to inclement weather, including temperatures falling below 70º.
