Walkthrough Attractions To Experience At Disney World



Disney World has several types of attractions for guests to experience and enjoy. Whether you are a fan of thrill rides, dark rides, gentle rides, boat rides, interactive experiences, or walkthrough attractions, Disney World has something for everyone. Disney World prides itself in creating innovative experiences and one-of-a-kind attractions. Many of Disney’s attractions are rides or shows, but a few are walkthrough experiences that guests can enjoy at their own pace. If you have an upcoming visit to Disney World then be sure to check out these walkthrough attractions that you can enjoy during your visit to the parks.

Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana at EPCOT

One of EPCOT’s newest attractions is located in the World Nature section of the park near The Seas with Nemo and Friends. This walkthrough attraction allows guests to play with water in new and innovative ways. Inspired by Moana and her relationship with water, this attraction allows guests to explore water at their own pace as they walk through. Guests can listen as water makes music, wave and watch the water wave back, and walk as water parts ways for them. As guests explore this attraction they also read about the water cycle and learn how water affects us all.

Sea Base at EPCOT

Located near Journey of Water is Sea Base, EPCOT’s massive aquarium experience. Guests can access this walkthrough attraction by either riding The Seas With Nemo and Friends attraction or entering another door that takes them straight to the aquarium. Guests can take their time and explore this attraction and see manatees, dolphins, turtles, rays, and other wonderful sea creatures. Kids can also play in Bruce’s shark area while they learn about these magnificent creatures.

Discovery Island Trails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

This walkthrough area of Animal Kingdom will entertain guests of all ages. Discovery Island Trails is a series of paths and walkways that explore the Discovery Island area of the park. Through these trails, guests can find animal habitats and see critters like otters, flamingoes, and more. Guests can also see some incredible views of The Tree of Life through these trails.

Swiss Family Treehouse at Magic Kingdom

Located in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, Swiss Family Treehouse is a fun walkthrough attraction. Guests can ascend into a replica of the treehouse from the classic film: Swiss Family Robinson. This treehouse has many rooms to view and areas to explore. Guests can also get a lovely view of Magic Kingdom once they reach the top!

Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you’re looking for an indoor walkthrough attraction to escape the heat then Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a great option for you. This walkthrough exhibit tells the story of Walt Disney’s life and career through artifacts and other fun visuals. This attraction ends with a short film entitled “One Man’s Dream” which goes into further detail of Walt Disney’s work.
