While exploring EPCOT’s World Showcase, stop by the Italy pavilion for authentic Italian fare at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. At this table service dining experience, you can enjoy hearty pastas, fresh salads, and, of course, pizzas.
When it comes to authenticity, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria goes above and beyond. Restaurateur Nick Valenti ventured to Naples in order to learn accurate sauce, dough, crust, and oven temperatures. This information was used to create this restaurant’s menu of Neapolitan pizzas. Today, the dough for these pizzas is made with water that comes from a spring similar to those in Italy’s Campania region.
Large wood-burning ovens are used to perfect the pizzas that are available at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. These ovens, which sit at the center of the restaurant, are named after 3 active volcanoes in Italy: Stromboli, Mount Edna, and Mount Vesuvius.
