Unique Ways To Spend Mother’s Day At Disney World

Disney Mom and Daughter

Mother’s Day will be here before you know it and there is no better way to celebrate than with a trip to Disney World! A vacation is a great way to treat mom to a magical Mother’s Day experience that she’ll never forget. There are several ways to celebrate mom at Disney World this year. Here are just a few unique ways to spend Mother’s Day at Disney World.

Treat Her To Brunch at a DVC Resort

Mother’s Day brunch is the perfect way to show mom how much you care. Several Disney restaurants have historically offered a Mother’s Day brunch in the past. While nothing has been officially announced yet for this year, you can bet that a few of these restaurants will have upcoming similar offerings.

DVC restaurants that have offered Mother’s Day brunch in the past include Bay Lake Tower’s Steakhouse 71, Old Key West’s Olivia’s Cafe, Grand Floridian’s Grand Floridian Cafe, and Wilderness Lodge’s Whispering Canyon. These special brunches usually run until 2pm on Mother’s Day and feature a menu consisting of breakfast and lunch foods.

A few restaurants at Disney Springs typically offer Mother’s Day brunch as well such as Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, Wine Bar George, Raglan Road, The Boathouse, and Morimoto Asia.

Pamper Her at A DVC Spa

If the mom in your life is in need of some rest and relaxation then consider making a reservation at one of Disney’s full-service spas. There are several spas on DVC property that offer massages, facials, body wraps, hand or foot services, and other methods of relaxation. Spas at DVC resorts include Senses at Disney’s Grand Floridian, and The Spa at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

Enjoy New Treats For Mother’s Day

Disney World typically releases special treats just for Mother’s Day. Last year, Main Street Confectionery introduced a “Celebrate Mom” section with treats like chocolate covered Minnie apples, pink Minnie crispy rice treats, and cotton candy. If those treats aren’t of interest to you then feel free to explore the parks and find the tastiest snacks for you and the mom in your life! You’ll be surprised at all the sweet treats you can find.

Experience Flower & Garden Festival

Mother’s Day happens to occur at the same time of one of EPCOT’s most beautiful festivals: The International Flower & Garden Festival. This festival runs through late-February to late-May and showcases stunning character topiaries, as well as offering exclusive festival merchandise as well as special snacks and drinks. Guests can enjoy the Garden Rocks Concert series where several bands make appearances throughout the festival, as well as stroll through the butterfly garden! You and your mom will have a blast experiencing this stunning springtime festival.

Have A Shopping Spree at Disney Springs

Disney Springs is Disney World’s massive shopping and entertainment center. With stores like Vera Bradley, Fabletics, Free People, and Kendra Scott, you can easily treat your mom to an incredible shopping spree. After you shop you can enjoy a meal at one of Disney Springs’ several dining experiences.
