Tips For A Magical Stay at DVC’s Riviera Resort

Riviera

Staying DVC is a great way to add some extra magic to your Disney vacation. With spacious villas and deluxe accommodations, DVC resorts like Disney’s Riviera Resort are great options for families vacationing at Disney World. Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of the newest DVC resorts at Disney World in Florida, and this beautiful resort will impress any guest. Themed after the European riviera, this resort celebrates Walt Disney’s love of Europe and all of the Disney films that it inspired. If you have an upcoming stay at DVC’s Riviera Resort then check out our tips for a magical stay!

Take Advantage Of The Disney Skyliner

One of the biggest benefits in staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort is the access to the Disney Skyliner. This unique transportation system travels throughout several Disney resorts and parks. Guests can hop on the Skyliner and arrive at Hollywood Studios or EPCOT in just a few minutes. The Skyliner is great for families with small children, as guests don’t have to collapse single strollers to board (double strollers must be collapsed). The Disney Skyliner gives Riviera guests some of the quickest and easiest access to these parks, and guests who are interested in exploring other Disney resorts can ride the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, and Pop Century as well.

Enjoy Nighttime Activities

Like many deluxe resorts, Disney’s Rivera Resort is not short on recreational activities. After dark, Riviera offers nightly campfire activities and movies under the stars. Guests can gather near the waterfront from 6-7pm each night and roast marshmallows and experience old fashioned campfire fun. On the lawn at 8pm each night, classic Disney films are projected for families and guests of all ages to enjoy together.

Le Petit Cafe

Another great tip for guests of Disney’s Riviera Resort is to stop by Le Petit Cafe each morning for a great cup of coffee before heading to the parks. Skip the long lines at the park’s coffee shops and enjoy a drink before you even leave your resort. Le Petit Cafe serves a variety of specialty coffee beverages like their house-made Almond Cold Brew. Let Petit Cafe also serves several delicious pastries. Come back in the evening for cocktails and small plates!

Topolino’s Terrace

Guests staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort should definitely take advantage of Topolino’s Terrace restaurant being so close. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a character dining experience with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy who are all dressed in their artistic best. Guests can choose from a variety of entrees like Quiche Gruyère and Bread Pudding Brûlée. Characters don’t join guests for dinner, but Topolino’s Terrace is transformed into a signature dining experience serving Italian and French-inspired cuisine like Classic Sole Meunière, Bouillabaisse, and Braised Beef Cheeks. During the meal guests can enjoy the stunning view from the rooftop terrace.
