If you have been waiting for an out of this world dining experience, your wait is almost over. Space 220 Restaurant will open in September!
Located in Epcot next to Mission: SPACE, this uniquely themed dining experience is sure to be one of the most exciting that Disney has to offer. The entire experience will be completely immersive, giving guests the illusion of being transported to a space station. This is done with the use of elevators, specialty screen windows, gravity tricks, and futuristic furniture.
The menu for Space 220 Restaurant will be a two-course prix fixe lunch menu and a a three-course prix fixe dinner menu. The fresh ingredients that are used in this menu will be highlighted in the spinning wall called the grow zone.
This newest restaurant has been under works since 2019, and has undergone multiple delays that have pushed it back. However, now that Disney has announced it will be opening in mid-September, it seems to be just another reason to head over to Epcot for the 50th anniversary celebrations.
