Hours

The pony rides are available daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing ample opportunity to fit this delightful experience into your day. The last ride of the day takes place at 30 minutes prior to close.

Costs

The pony rides at Tri-Circle-D Ranch operate from 11 am to 3 pm daily. The cost is $10 for one lap and $15 for two laps.

Requirements

To ensure safety and comfort, there are certain requirements in place. The ride is suitable for children who are at least 3 years old, weigh less than 80 pounds, and are no taller than 48 inches.

A parent or guardian is required to lead the pony around the track at all times, which makes for an excellent bonding experience for parent and kiddos!

Shortly before it’s your child’s turn to ride, they will be given a helmet to ride (with many sizes available for a range of child-sizes) to put on. The parent or guardian will secure the helmet, which will later be double-checked by the Cast Member assisting you.

Saddle Up

When it’s your child’s turn to ride, they’ll be guided to a small staircase that allows them to mount the pony easily. The Cast Member will be there to guide the child, and ensure they are seated correctly and comfortably.

Off to the Races

Then, the parent or guardian will take the reins of the pony and proceed to slowly guide the pony around a small track for the number of laps they’ve purchased. The ponies are incredibly well trained, and are easily guided by any adult, whether they have any past experience or not.

Once the child has completed their ride, they are guided to the loading platform to be guided off the pony by the Cast Member. The child is then allowed to pose next to the pony (and sneak some pets in too!) for a photo opportunity that an awesome way to commemorate many kid’s first-ever pony ride!
